good job i hope i do not need to change the fuses.
Thanks for another great video!
Welcome
Great video. I replaced my subwoofer a couple times. I purchased them on EBay!!
Did you replace the speaker only
Yes sir, super easy. I amplified mine with a one ohm amplifier so I’ve blown a couple already. Plenty of subs on EBay here in the states. Rock-On Grove-on!!
As usual well explained👍
Thanks a lot 😊
Another great video showing details that are often overlooked or not shown in other similar videos. I hope I never need to perform this task, but now know the proper steps to do it if I have an issue. Perhaps you already have a video on this, but could you show how to flush the ABC system and replace the filter? That's next on my list of things to do and would truly appreciate some guidance.
Unfortunately for you I chose to not go with the ABC as I was worried with the issues , so I have just old fashioned coils 👍🏼
Tips: Omitted here is the removal of the plastic panel under the glovebox (3 recessed Torx screws) where the cabin filter is located and the small piece of carpet on the side. Rebove one philips screw under a smooth plastic cap; this will provide much appreciated room to remove the rest...Also, my black metal plate has the Distronic Module mounted to the back of it so beware of wiring to be unplugged once you've removed the nuts from this plate. What a bear! These engineers do some very dumb things when it comes to considering repairs..PS After hours of struggling to get these parts out & back in (in there for 21 yeras), the fuses tested OK. In my case, what a waste of time. They could've made voltage test points anywhere, let alone located these fuses in an accessible spot!!
good tip
Appreciate the effort. However, what was your reason for accessing the fuse? Did you have a problem?
I did the video just to check the fuses, before I decided to change alternator
How do you protector your bcm? People have said to put some sort of a sealer on it to protect it from water. Do you recommend anything?
So the modification for the BCM is to insert an inline fuse, not to cover it with anything, I will update soon
