Just want to let you know that watching your videos has allowed me to better my relationship with food. For the last ten days I haven’t been obsessing over my weight neither have I been checking it because I’ve realised that it’s ok treating yourself to whatever your body wants. You’ve got to trust yourself. Thank you for being you!

I appreciate what your family said about those spending Christmas alone. I'd normally have celebrated with my mother, kids and grandchildren, but I may have been exposed, so I wouldn't dare. It stinks, but hopefully next year will be better.
You did the right thing by not mixing with them, you’re a super hero :) There will be many more Christmases. Important to remember that this won’t last forever and better times will come. I found it really hard not seeing my dad and my brother this year but I know it’s to keep us all safe and next year or the year after will be so much sweeter and we will appreciate it so much! Hope you managed to have a good day anyway.

Video idea- 24 hours where you have to make everything from scratch - so if you had beans on toast you would make the bread and make the beans in a tomato sauce or if you wanted peanut butter you would have to make it from scratch etc etc You do do a lot of this already so I don’t think it would be too difficult for you ❤️❤️

One year I was by myself for Christmas as my son was at his dads and I didn’t feel like socialising...I had a bowl of noodles for dinner 😂 Most relaxing laid back Christmas ever!

Belated Merry Christmas to the kindest and most special family on the internet. I cannot get over how amazingly special your family is. I wonder if you all realize how many of us didnt think families were so close and kind and generous of spirit outside fictional televison shows or movies. I always feel warm and fuzzy when you share family vlogs. Best to you all in 2021 and I'm rooting for next year being the year that Banksy gets his overdue stocking lol
Haha yes poor Banksy always gets left out. I agree so much. Families are often sooo dysfunctional and you begin to feel like NOBODY has the perfect family Christmas we're all supposed to be having.... Seeing the Booth family restores my faith in humanity and that there are lovely families out there who do genuinely love each other and enjoy each others company on Christmas day!! I also get that fuzzy feeling watching the vlogs ❤️😊

The smile on your dad's face while he was holding Banksy wearing the Santa hat was simply iconic. So glad you had a lovely Christmas in spite of it being different than it normally is. I'm actually watching this video while having dinner and I spent Christmas on my own (well I didn't really do Christmas this year).
But don't be sad, I actually liked it. I took a little break from all the work I had to do, relaxed a little bit, cooked some good food. It was great :)

I'm one of those people who sits alone eating dinner watching Grackle, even for xmas day, but... I LOVE being alone. Thanks for letting me have a Christmas on my own terms, in my own comfort, but getting to relax and enjoy watching your family do all the traditional things. I get joy from watching your joy, with none of the anxiety or effort of having to do things myself :D
See this sounds weird but not going out because it's my choice is fine but after almost a year of being at home i feel like when I can I will go out.

Grace is my comfort TH-camr, and her family are just so wholesome and calming. She got me through a really tough time last year and I know she won't see this, but I'm really glad to have videos like this to watch, and that I'm able to feel so included in a family I've never met but are so loving!
I love your family so much. I unfortunately am one of the ones that had to spend my Christmas alone for the first time, and stuck in a foreign country far away from everyone I know and love to top it all off. But watching your videos has brought so much joy to my days, I am genuinely so grateful

Yes agree about the ham and pick! We do it on Boxing Day with jacket potatoes, salad, cheese, leftover turkey, pigs in blankets and a Christmas ham! It’s my favourite meal of the year which I had to make for the first time this year but I still loved it

It was just the two of us this Christmas. We watched Church on line. Missed my family but so thankful they are well. We were snowed in on Christmas Day so it was probably just as well that we didn’t get together because the roads were treacherous.

I love Smitten Kitchen! That shortbread base can be used for a bunch of flavor varieties. I’ll also put the dough into a gallon plastic ziplock bag and roll it flat and freeze it. Then cut the bag off and slice the dough into squares before baking. It’s perfect to make multiple flavors and freeze them flat.

Honestly the reason I love you so much as a TH-camr is because our families are soooooo similar. I have 3 younger sisters and we are all very close. Your Christmas is so similar to ours, from opening the stockings in your parents' bed, to all the traditional foods, the cat, etc. So lovely
The way you're so excited...i just want to celebrate eid back!!! We celebrated in May, the first major lockdown...on eid we supposed to visit out friends' and family's houses...so it's obviously VERY different in May...on the day before eid we make Rendang takes sometime to mix it and weave the leaves for our compact rice (Ketupat) and cook in the night...on eid i was always so excited to wake up to have some Rendang and ketupat 😭😭😭

I have always been living a shitty holidays seasons, with a drunk dad and relatives to messed up the xmas party whit their fights and issues, this year the only thing I wanted was to spend xmas whit my aunt, uncle and grandparents bt they had to be isolated bc they got covid. So here I am stocked in these place forgotten and unknown by the rest of the globe, where the violence is the main currency. So thank you Grace, and your family, for sharing, for being out there, just for existing. I'm so grateful for this blogs of yours and for make me feel welcome somewhere even though probably we will never speak to each other, just the fact that you may read this its enough for me. About a month ago I was at a Walmart and had the most lovely conversation with a woman in her 80s while waiting to check out about all of the food containers I was buying to organize my kitchen. We talked about Tupperware and how great that stuff is, she still has so many pieces that are decades old! She was so lovely and you saying you had a nice convo with the woman at Tesco reminded me of that 🥰 merry Christmas Grace!! ❤️
