When I was young, there wasn't a bridge on the North Fork end of Scott Hollow Rd., it was just a shallow ford. If it rained for a couple days, you wouldn't be able to cross it with a car, you'd have to go from the California Road end of it. I think Brookfield Twp. finally put a bridge there in the late 1990s.
