what would be the perfect compliment to this pedalboard analysis is the guitar and amp selections that evolved with the pedals, the shift from the Super Eagles/McCarty to Honey to the Silver Sky Dead Specs....PRS J-Mods to the Dumbles/Fender to the three Deluxe Reverbs to the Dumbles. Great work Justin !
The first person I saw have the volume pedals to self mix their reference was Jimmy Herring of Widespread. I wonder if there is some crew crossover, or if John saw that in the Rig Rundown PG did a few years back and dug it. Either are plausible.
Such high quality. Thank you for this. I am sure John would appreciate this too.
John should give you an interview. It would be fun to see you quiz him.
If he really really wanted too he’d probably talk more about his sound than we want him too 😂

This channel is a jewel Justin. Thank you!
Yes! Another great video. I can’t wait for the John interview video one day!!!
Keep these videos going !!
Gonna need a tone breakdown on Alessia Cara' new track with John's Solo please.

So Justin, how long until you think American Lefty Silver Sky will be made available?? Seems the SE left handed SS is selling well!
Sure, why not. Thanks Justin!
Only 2 pedal boards? I heard he brought 3. What a bummer.
Make a similar video for john mayer trio over the years!
That Spere setup isn't so much a "BOARD" as it is a "STATION"...it seems to me he's more playing his sound than he is just playing his guitars.
Yea but who cares about The Grateful Dead?
No yo dont
A lot of us care
