Hi everyone, We made this video during a stopover at Istanbul's Sabiha Gökçen International Airport and thought we'll give you a little tour. We hope you'll enjoy this video!
the worst airport(sorry) not for quality but for the work quality i got a transit from 12pm to 12:10 PM i talked to the manager he say u stay 1 day in and u need to pay for hotel (4000 euro) they give us 5 x 7 free deal but not deal that we choos and not on every restaurent. my dad was disapointed because of that now for me its the worst airport and also i have 7 luggages lost because of this airport . this airport do not deserve 5 stars

I would say that overall this airport is not different from any other airport in the world - including prices. Usually all major credit cards are accepted as well as Euro or Turkish Lira of course.
It should be pretty straight forward and you should be able to just follow the connection signs. If your transfer time is short, I would ask one of the ground staff after you’ve landed. Also, this airport is not too big but nevertheless it gets busy. Safe travels to you! 😊
bro how did your self transfer go i have the same issue i have a transit but it is self transfer and i dont know do you need to have visa for Turkey to go and check in at the counter?
The airport is on the Asian side and further out from Sultanahmet for example. But if you want to avoid driving or taking a taxi, you can take the subway to the Asian side and from there you can take one of the shuttle buses to the airport. It’s quite easy and convenient.
I like this airport. The architecture is good and the selection of shops and traditional as well as contemporary restaurants is actually very interesting. On the other hand, the corridor areas do look like they could do with some renovation, particularly shinier floors and wall decorations. For an airport catering predominantly to low cost airlines, this airport looks respectable.

Why you went to check in area ? If you transit you can go direct to the gates after security check
We were booked through with a different airline and had to do the check in at the counter 😊
