Great picks. For this spring and summer I’ll probably wear these in my collection: Late spring: -Creed Green Irish Tweed -Tom Ford Beau de Jour -Parfums de Marley Darley (don’t have it in my collection yet, only in sample) Summer: -Profumum Roma Acqua di Sale -Xerjoff Uden -Creed Millesime Imperial -Xerjoff 40 Knots (evenings) -Acqua di Parma Arancia la Spugnatura
I’m 😊so glad you mentioned Silver mountain water from Creed,I’m going to open up the box since waiting this past cold winter. Thanks again that’s why I love your posts
I have silver mountain water, Aventus and Aventus cologne. I’m looking for the next best fresh creed for summer. Please recommend one for me . Thank you
Just received an Oceania sample, and I'm really liking it! Reminds me a little bit of Mefisto Casamorati with the citrus/floral mix. Might have to pick it up sometime. 👍
When u talk PDM u speak my language, how bad I want to have a PDM fragrance no matter what fragrance I want It. Thank u very much for the video . have a good n blessed day. Stay safe
I have a few designer fragrances for the summer, but I have been leaning towards niche fragrances. Recently I purchased Sedley & Percival from Parfums De Marley, Manceras Cerdat Boise and Creeds Silver Mountain Water. ⛱️
@@Redolessence so far my favorite is Percival it smells fruity but super woody which I like. Tomorrow I will wear Silver mountain water and give it a go
@@Seasniffer1969 i have both, no, not even close, Sillage doesn't have the crispness and refreshing sensation that SMW has. They're only somewhat similar in the drydown when it's smelled in the air, even then it's only somewhat similar. Go and try side by side if you want to test what I'm saying.
@@Seasniffer1969 no it’s not the same. I bought SMW for my brother as a gift because he loved it on me. When he finished his bottle, he thought it’s too expensive for him to rebuy. So I recommend Sillage off the reviews without personally trying it. When he got it, we all got disappointed. Like the other comment says, it’s not as crisp and uplifting. I would never buy Sillage as a substitute for SMW.
My wife never liked it on me silver mountain water...I'd bought my bottle a good few years ago and it's only been sprayed maybe 5 times since the day I bought it. I'd just wore it this past week here in Boston. SMW by Creed is beautiful. It is my favourite Creed with Green Irish Tweed and Erolfa. Reflection 45 by Amouage is also something i would include but it is expensive.
Hi bro..and if we go without armaf sillige, wich is the greatest clone for budget ?and beatween al haramain blanch, ajmal silvef shade or afnan heaven which is the greatest, realestic and not synthetic at all the way(less synthetic)?
Hello Steven, how are you? Great job on the video and list. ROJA OCEANIA IS MY FAVORITE ON THE LIST ONLY HAD A SAMPLE BUT ONLY A SAMPLE OF MOST OF THOSE FRAGRANCES BECAUSE THEY ARE NICHE. CELEBRATION SOUNDS GREAT. STAY SAFE BROTHER
Great list Steve. Lots of amazing and nice scents you have recommended for sure. Will definitely check them out. My favourite summer/spring scent is Creed Erolfa.
As spring/summer scents go, I bought 2 samples of BDK colognes to try out: Citrus Riviera and Villa Neroli. The former is ok, but I actually prefer the latter more.
Man I just picked up both Sedley and Greenley and the performance I was getting from Sedley was…unfortunate to say the least. Maybe I need to let it sit for a while but Greenley was quite strong right out of the box. Sedley lacked in both projection and longevity for me.
@@Redolessence Fragrancebuy. I’ve used them many times before and they’re reputable for sure. Sometimes with discounters, the fragrance needs to sit for a while. It’s impossible to know the temperature or the conditions that they were stored in. When I got Dior homme intense in for the first time, I was extremely disappointed in the performance. However, after it sat for a while, I was finally able to understand the hype because it really opened up.
Few of my favorites for the Spring and Summer is Mancera Holidays,Aoud Blue and Allure homme edition Blanche. Hey Steven I know u usually don't review this brand but could u review the 2 latest releases from Tommy Bahama Maritime Voyage and St.Barts Seascape? I just bought the Dossier version of Creed's SMW.
Do I understand correctly that some or most of the listed fragrances are 40-50 dollars per 10 ml sprays? How much would a 50 or a 100 ml size cost?Am I getting it wrong, Steven?
Travel sprays are the most inefficient as far as cost goes. Most of these bottles can be found for around $120 plus a bottle. A small bottle. At discounters lol.
Mark Perkins- Depends on how old & how popular the frag is. It's tough to find some of these for under 150 & a 9m travel spray will give you almost 900 sprays, so it will last you longer than you think
@@seansimmons73 oh I have many travel sprays. I get about two weeks of daily wear out of one. I feel I have a much better idea of what the frag has to offer that way then just getting a sample to wear two or three times. With some of the more complex compositions I can pick out notes I have not smelled before even after four or five wearings. Oddly enough some frags have to grow on me. ADG Perfumo was just confusing and disappointing my first wearing. I love it now lol. Humans are such weird creatures.
@Mark Perkins Yeah, my experience on hating frags & then finding out I love them is similar. The thing with me is that it seems that my skin chemistry changes with my diet. I'm a gym rat & when I'm trying to gain muscle one year, then trying to loose weight the next, I eat much differently. I buy decants when I'm not ready to commit to a full bottle & find that they can last for years. Of course I like to wear a different scent every day & I have over 200 bottles so they last me longer than some people
Steven, thank you for your reviews and recommendations! Could you please make a list with a No. 1 for each of the 14 categories mentioned by Michael Edwards in his book "FRAGRANCES of the WORLD"?
After getting PDM Herod can't afford to spend any more cash on fragrances at least for now. Still when the Master speaks you listen. So let's do this and Godspeed!!
Good, but rather expensive list. Not many reviewers mention Casamorati Fiero (a great lemon, Eau Sauvage vibe). I purchased recently more affordable summer frags that are really great for the price. Chopard Happy Lemon Dulci, L'occitane Vervene, Zara Amalfi Sunray and Simone Andreoli Zest di Sorrento, the most expensive one on my list. 🍋
HEY ALL, NAVITUS NAVUS IT IS THE WINNER !!! Trust me, humid rainy hot weather in the tropic has the best challenge an all fragances. Lasts 10+ hours and really is mass appealing. Have already bought five bottles and can't get tired of it. Lazaro

My favourite summer/spring scent is Creed Erolfa.
