I was at an Omega store a few days ago and it turns out they're trying to get in on the Moonswatch hype. They had the nerve to release one in steel! They're becoming the new San Martin.
does that even make sense? shouldn't it be 'you don't have to spend a fortune if you want to get a good watch on your wrist' ( not 'if you DONT want to get a good watch on your wrist')
I've just re-read this - with the correct spacing. 'you don't have to spend a fortune, if you don't want to, to get a good watch on your wrist' lol forget my previous comment.
Hi, I’m 14 and I got a San Martin after watching one of your videos. I’ve nearly owned it a year and I have worn it for nearly every day since purchase.
I've put myself on a 1 watch a year budget, and this year I went with a Vostok Amphibia (scuba guy), but the Tissot, Timex, and Swatch are ALL on my short list for next year! Great list Jodi
The only watch here I wouldnt pay for, is the one I once wanted the most. The Moonswatch. How a watch can go from the hottest on the plannet, to a hot mess in the same year is an achievement in marketing over substance like none other I can think of (not just in watches) Even the Invicta is a better watch (Invicta better than Omega - who knew!) Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
To be fair, Swatch has always been about form over function, flash and glam. The cheap movements been around for decades but I suppose it’s proven reliable... does the job.
I agree with this 100 percent. My jaw dropped when I saw the release. Theeeennnnnn I started watching the reviews. 🧐. They absolutely shredded this child's toy of a watch that Swatch had the gall to charge $250 for. I'm glad I always wait for the hype to die down before handing over my monies.
The CEO of Swatch said in a recent Fratello interview that the Moonswatch will only be sold in Swatch stores (and a limited number at that). His reasoning was the most baffling thing I've read in years, you have to read the review to really appreciate it. The closest Swatch store near me is 6 hrs. drive. No thanks. Just like a Rolex, I have no chance or buying one either nor do even care to buy either product, I don't beg anyone to take my cash. While the marketing idea was brilliant the execution is a complete failure. A cheaply made product that's limited in availability is just plain stupid. This is one time where the Chinese knockoffs are probably of greater quality (and are ridiculously easy to find) than the real thing.
I've owned all of watches 1 to 4. They only one I sold for a profit was the Invicta 🤣. I've owned 3 casioaks and 3 Timex Qs, and still have 1 of each in my collection. I bought the 35mm PRX recently and love that too. I'm clearly a dedicated follower of fashion 😅
Is the Timex Qs a good watch as I like Timex as a brand just not sure if it’s worth it, what price to do think is good for it as I have found one for €115 and I think that’s a decent deal just not sure
I received a PRX for Father’s Day and it’s been my daily watch since. I’m in love with this piece for more than sentimental value, it’s a legitimately great watch.
I love the look of it, but it'd need sapphire to get me to pull the trigger at that pricepoint. The movement for it will be available too, and I'm very interested to see what the usual suspects on AliEx do with it.
THANK YOU for showing some love for the 1953. Everyone loves to hate on Invicta because of the atrocious chucky monstrosities they peddle, or they simply ignore them, but the 1953 is one of my favorite watches in my collection (the original black bezel). It's so subtle and elegant for $100+ watch.
I recently bought a Casioak in the (sort of) blue grey colour and absolutely love it. Definitely a keeper with the other G-Shocks I have in my collection, and I got it for a bargain $149.00 AUD
Nostalgia is a powerful thing. Good observation near the end about the fact that wearing a ‘traditional’ timepiece is in itself backwards looking when smartwatches and phones are now so prevalent.
@@JustOneMoreWatch The brand is fine. I have four Invictas and the ones with the NH35 movement are surprisingly accurate - I suspect they are regulated, which would be remarkable.
Where can the original (no color bezels) Invicta be found? I do want one, but it seems to have been vanished from planet Earth... Only the colored bezels remain
@@frankowot4 I've owned it for a few months (well not the v3) and I think it's solid. Good finishing, good details, nice etching on the back. The quartz is reliable and the pushers feel solid. Only negative for me is maybe the crystal (mineral or sapphire idk) isn't the crispest looking.. maybe lacking some AR coating.
Bought my first watch from Ali Express/San Martin last month (after watching the chamnel for a while), only took a couple of weeks to get to the UK and am genuinely blown away by the quality and fit/feel - many thanks for the videos, good quality affordable watches are definitely the way ahead 😊
I've never owned any top notch or expensive watches, but I have 2 of the Timex Q, along with the M79 Automatic. After a week or so wearing either, the arm hair pulling stops. I absolutely love all three but the M79 takes the cake in my book. Love the domed crystal, but shoowee does it scratch easy. Really enjoy your videos! Thanks for investing your time in these videos for your viewers! Cheers!
Great review, Jodi. Thanks. I have a Q Timex and, beyond the annoyance of the acrylic crystal get scratched now and again, I enjoy it. Mystifies me why anyone would want a MoonSwatch when, for not much more, they could get a Bulova Lunar Pilot.
Casioak - bought one about a year ago. Love it, a keeper. Q Timex - got a GMT a few weeks ago, flipped it, looks great, felt wrong for some reason. Invicta - nope. Tissot PRX - waiting for a gold plated 40mm right now. Moonswatch - just no... Not in a million years. I would rather get a real speedmaster but chronographs are not really to my liking. Nice video!
The PRX is a bit of a standout on this list: it's a very high quality Swiss-made watch, on top of being very affordable. I expect it's the only one that will still be in store display cases 5 years from now. A Tissot was the first watch I ever bought for myself, and it's what got me interested in collecting watches. (I only buy what I want to wear, and it's the only one on this list that qualifies.)
Interesting video Jody. I didn't buy any of these... The closest I got was getting the Pagani design PD1701 'Moonwatch'. Which I'd say is a far better option than the MoonSwatch.
@@con81rad Yes I would. There's a couple of slightly sharp bits on the bracelet, but other than that. No real issues. I've done a full review if you want to check it out, to see the watch in more detail and all aspects of it.
The Moonswatch will be studied in marketing classes for years to come - how to create a "buzz" around a cheap watch. I ordered the Pagani Design homage.
What’s also interesting is how many of these are quartz. Watch folks are always hating on quartz, but it’s cheap, easy, and usually tell time better. And turns out we actually love them!
I have an Invicta pro diver bluesy with nh35a for 44 dollars as my first mechanical watch. It runs +3 seconds per day average. I can't be more satisfied.
The prx is what kicked off my watch collecting again. Im extremely grateful to you and the others that pointed this watch out. Ill never sell it and the watch holds a special place in my heart. I feel really good wearing it.. other than the one day where a guy got super hyped thinking i was wearing an AP only to give me a crushed look when i explained it was a tissot 😅
I got the Invicta 1953 a couple months ago, with the coke bezel which I actually prefer to the black one. It's a really fantastic watch, the quality and finishing are very impressive for the price. Only minor nitpick is I wish it was a couple mm thinner, but overall I'm truly delighted.
I recently added a new Casioak GA-B2100 1 AER to my collection, Solar and Bluetooth were the things that sold it to me. Just put the Casio Watch app on your phone and set all the functions through the phone and that's it. The G-Shock connected app hadnt been updated to cover it ?? I have various homages that cover all the others except the Moonswatch. Great video letting us know what you think as always, keep up the good work. 👍😎
Of the five I've bought three. First the Invicta since I could purchase it on launch with a heavy discount. Sold if for a profit since it was too big. Second the Timex during a clearance sale. I send it back though since it felt very flimsy and cheap Last one was the casioak. Bought the metal bezel version and the white lady... unisex one. The white is still in my girlfriends watchbox but the steel bezel version I flipped. Maybe I should just stick to watches like Halios and Certina that tend to stick around.
Great video as always! I’ve bought and sold a CasioOak, Invicta 1953 and Timex Q. I also have the Tissot PRX blue dial quartz which has become my go to daily. I would have had a full set if the MoonSwatch was available at retail but no doubt I’ll get one someday when the fuss dies down
Loved the concept and the video! It is so exciting with affordable yet desirable timepieces that basically everyone are able to obtain. I'd suggest the Timex Marlin reissue as a contender to these ones as well. I'm not entirely sure from the top of my head, but I think it predates the Q reissue with a couple of years. The hype for that one was pretty big when it first released! I've got the version with Snoopy on the dial and absolutely love it!
I recently received my PRX on blue dial as a gift from my wife... it´s my daily watch since this week, also its my first watch from a swiss brand, i Really enjoy how the bracelet reflects the lights it's impresive
All of these are great IMO! Only one I own is the Casioak, which I was lucky enough to pick up in London in 2019 before it hit the States. I'd update to the Tough Solar if this one wasn't tied to memories of my last international trip for a while.
You've had a swath of non-review videos lately Jody, this re-view, best sales, AliExpress stuff, etc., and it's been fantastic! I do love your reviews but these sorts of market analyses and purchase recommendations are a nice breath of fresh air. Not that I'm getting tired of your stream of excellent reviews, but it's nice to sometimes have a a wine instead of a scotch, you know?
Like most of us, I too got caught up in the MoonSwatch frenzy!😵💫 Thank God Swatch didn’t have millions ready to buy!🤤 That was their biggest mistake!💵💵💵💵Hype has now passed & life goes on…🤪
Hype is still there for it. I recently went to the swatch store on Oxford street in london, n they said the longest a delivery of watches has sat for till sold out was 94 minutes. N the quickest they sold out was 26 minutes.
Hey Jody, not sure if you've covered this one or not, but I picked up a great budget diver...Addiesdive quartz Diver known as the Seahunter Diver. It does have a quartz movement, but this is one of the best divers next to a Seiko in the lower priced category that I've seen so far. Only $39.00 USD including impressive lume and 200m water resistant.
While I have moved up a bit from Invicta. With the purchases of a Bulova Lunar Pilot and a Phoibos Wave Master. I hope Invicta sees the success of the 1953 and does something similar with dive watches. I love the likes of the Bulova Mil-Spec and others, but just want a cheap version as I’m not going to actually dive with it.
I bought the Casioak and love the way it feels on the wrist. I'm not sure I'm going to upgrade to the Bluetooth version because I'm guessing every year they will be improving it again and again so I'm just going to be happy with the one I have.
The Swatch store where I live had a few Moonswatch colorways in stock the last time I stopped in, but once I realized what you were getting for $260, I was instantly turned off at how insubstantial of a piece it is. They turned the Speedmaster into a kids toy but have the gall to charge big boy prices for a piece of disposable plastic. I have a feeling the hype is going to die just as fast as it started unless they do something to make it more compelling or drop the price
Needing a GMT, and a durable one at that, I finally got the stealth casioak, brand new, For less than £80, a few months ago. Definitely worth the hype. I'd say the new version ( metal, Bluetooth Solar ) will surely be the next budget hypemaster, if it isn't already. The one on the list I do now want? Surprisingly, I'm over the MoonSwatch. I actually want the PRX. If they did a GMT... OH MY.
The Swatch Omega Speedmaster. I love the mission to Uranus. Love that blue and my kid for some reason really liked the mission to the sun. Not my type of colour but I really liked this Swatch Omega novelty.
I agree, the Sealander ticks most of my boxes. I have a Trident 2 and an Elite 1000 but I think they have grown too fast because my experience of their after sales service means I won't be buying another.
@@philspencelayh5464 As you grow, there are always problems. Every company has it. The Question (that's right, with a huge Q) is how quickly they solve these problems. The faster decision - he wins. Slower decision - eat my dust baby. Therefore, we should wait and see what happens in the end. I know how Chris felt about his watches before he left the company. It was real love. I hope that his team now shares his feelings.
Bought the CasiOak in red and the PRX auto in blue, kept both, happy with them 👍🏻 On my list for budget watches is the yellow CasiOak and the Timex. Invicta? Never ever! 🤷🏻♂️ Thx for the video, love to hear your „Halloooooooo and welcome…“ 😁
I bought the smaller Casio GMA-S2100-7AER in white as my workwatch, i work in a hospital. I still have it and use and enjoy it every working day. I even used it as a dress watch when it blended in with my whitd shirt sleeve very nice. It is s keeper.
fantastic J brilliant video. I know you focus on budget watches but I would love you to do some commentary on classic / iconic watches and their history because your more insightful than most horological commentators.
Hello mate, great summary and analysis of some cracking watches. I really want to get the Tissot, and agree with your points about that little beauty. Thanks for the hard work making these great videos, even with a wee lad distracting you now! All the best, Dan.
Good lineup. I think that the Tissot is the winner if there's one among these five. Great do-it-all choice with elegant style, good origin and some history. The Casio of course is a great beater-casual take as it's always is. The Invicta is a case of well-made, interesting and uncontroversial homage, the kind that should be far more common instead of floodings of modern-Submariner-copy-and-paste. The Omega-Swatch collaboration was a cool and bold change of tune, and the Timex GMT Quartz at least is surely a nice take.
2 for 5 Joined the Casioak squad with a G-Shock GMAS2100. Had the choice of either at point of purchase, and the 'unisex' one wears better (its a 42mm, kinda large for a midsized model) for me. Also the athleisure aesthetics of the reduced don't provide fodder for me to roll my eyes like the tacticool looks for the GA2100 options in stock at the time. Tried a Timex Q for a week then sent it back. It wore too flat, needed some contour. Always felt like it was hovering near the wrist. Didn't mind the NOS quality, but the price I got it at was too high to cope with the 70s shortcomings. Subsequently picked up the Q Falcon Eye from Timex in a sale (31% off for Halloween... I'll take it) and enjoy every moment on the wrist. Wore it in rotation for a few seasons, but have retired it since because I wore it roughly. Still interested in the range because the quality appears to be improving.
Not sure if it's me but the prx has served to increase in RRP in Aus. Still keen on a quartz but would have to be a good special, still a bit big on my wrist. Was pretty keen on that Invicta 1953 but couldn't find it cheap enough. Even a search now shows it as A$150-200. Bought a PD-1694 for cheaper and arguably better (same movement, dome sapphire, upgraded line and fantastic quality bracelet)
1. I already have a G-Shock, and I've still been tempted. If they ever come out with the right color way and the right specs I'm in trouble. 2. I tried to stay away. For a year. Cracked and paid $40 over MSRP (only one I could find) for the black and guilt. I put it on a wildly overpriced (but beautifully made) Erika's original NDC style Bond strap and I regret nothing. Whenever I see it on my wrist I smile. Sometimes I out and out chuckle. Out loud. You just can't ask more of a watch, I don't care how much you paid for it. 3. Missed me. Still, glad for Timex. 4. Missed me. I'm 80's not 70's, you can keep your integrated bracelets. 5. Love the idea, but as we all now know the execution is not there. Still, after the hype dies down and if the price comes down AND they make one with 100m water resistance ...
Hi Jody, to me, the moonswatch would only have a reason to exist for twentyfive dollars at a smaller size for ten year olds (and a vintage Constellation is high on my Wish list). Do like this Invicta which was not in my radar. Have a PD 1701 comming for a good sale price.Keep them comming. Regards
Great video. I would buy any of the 4 watches at the start but I would not spend $250 for a plastic watch which looks quiet fragile. Ok, you get the Omega logo on there but... The quality is what lacks here....
CasiOak - waited for the solar and went bright yellow. As a member of the gorilla wrist club, its a bit too small, and fiddly to use Timex i went snoopy marlin and have never worn it Tissot PRX 40m, gold and sliver quartz {2nd hand} and love it looks much more than you pay for it Inviicacopycat - was a no no ! Moonwatch, will just keep my old speedy, but great mass marketing for Omega
Yes indeed, with the exception of the Casio (not an analog-digi fan) I have "tried" to buy each one of these. But after seeing your review and factoring in your reviews, the price premiums, or the fact they not available without scalpers I have drawn back and bought more reasonable alternatives. Still who knows what will happen in the next 12 months. I am still debating on the Invicta, the Swatch and .....
Since Rolex went to the moon and impossible to find, I kept my watch addiction going with budget watches. Just picked up a steel Casioak and a Moonswatch and I cannot believe how much fun I'm having with them. They get more attention than my Rolexes and Tudors.
I only jumped on the CasioOak train when they got the Tough Solar on board! (got the yellow one).... Timex Q is also a check for me ;)..... the rest of the bunch..... maybe a Tissot in the future? But you a right.... Old School watches are hot these days!
My wife was queueing up for moonswatch in Zürich from 03:00. She was on position 4. So she could get me a Mission to the Moon. In the Swiss Newspaper "Handelsblatt" the wrote a few days ago the now Omega has problems with delivering the real speedmaster due to high demands. For me as I getting far-sighted with the age, was considering the speedmaster but later decided to buy a IWC 377709. (In Zürich Bahnhofstrasse Swatch Omega and IWC are all within 200m)
Great list of the "hottest". For me, I love the Dan Henry 1963 6S20 in the price range of the ones you listed, but I also still consider "budget" to be sub-$100 for most people (not "watch people" but most people).
Very interesting that Jody thankyou. I have hovered over the trigger on a Casioak more times than I can remember, same with the PRX. The only one I might have bought would of been the moonswatch but now I’m kinda glad I didn’t!
Funny I bought the Invicta and I've 4 (modded) Casioaks with the PRX on my list after the Seiko5 gmt. With the Ali beat covered by our eggheaded friend your affordable but credible segment of the market overviews and reviews has been invaluable to me, especially during the dark days of lockdown. Cheers Jody, regards to the missus and bairn. As for the Moonswatch I'm not that annoyed at £400 for the best (moon) one and £300 for the mars, on Chrono, next to people asking £3gs🤣🤣🤣🤣 So I'll buy that too eventually.
The Seiko 5 GMT feels like the next one up. I bought the stealth GA2100 at MSRP from Casio. Had to wait some months as they sold out almost immediately once they were in stock, but it was worth not paying more from a reseller. I do want a Moonswatch, but I will wait. Not about to travel across states or pay triple retail for one when there are so many other watches to be had
Very interesting- I need to get educated on what is possible with the Casioak. Something about the Invicta 1953 appeals to me but I'm undecided. I've already decided that I want a Moonswatch, IF I can buy one at retail price. I'm not playing games or paying over retail for one. I might just buy a Pagani 1701 V3. And on the same theme of budget watches, also on my list is the Pagani 1639 and the Carnival field watch.
What a well-thought out and executed video! I only have one of these, the Casioak, but I'm definitely becoming interested in the PRX as time goes by. I might have sprung for the Q but you basically scared me out of it talking about the bracelet... As to the rest, what it teaches me is that my tastes do not necessarily reflect other's tastes but that is all right. Cheers!
I opted for the RED/RED/RED GA-2100, modded it, un-modded it, put JayzKayz strap adapters and currently it is now in a jelly case.....No Invicta 1953 for me, I was interested in the Timex Q, but didntt bite (thanks for the reivew), wasn't interestsed in the PRX, I was very interested in the Swatch, but have been put off by the insanity and having seen the moonswatch in the plastic the desire for one of them died down greatly. This year's hot budget watch? possibly the 5KX GMT, but it really isnt "budget"
Invicta 1953, have the scalloped version of this model not crazy about all their offerings but for the money they have some decent pieces. And I have several Timex watches as well I enjoy variety and bang for the buck.
I'll be picking up a Pagani Moon watch over the Moonswatch, it's better spected, cheaper, ironically more honest and actually available! We all know the other Luxury watch brand you can't buy at RRP There's little love for that aspect of there business model either. A quality brand on a cheap watch... It could all too easily help Swatch and hurt Omega.
I bought Q timex white dial pepsi for 90$…. Its a solid and good looking watch for that price! Extremly photogenic and fun piece. I would not pay retail probably tho.
I'm still new to collecting watches and have what might be a stupid question but here goes ... Are automatic, solar, kinetic etc always better than quartz? I know that seems like an obvious "no" because price range but I mean, is there more craftsmanship involved? I only have a small number of watches so far but with the exception of a Casio, Timex and Eco-drive, all the others are automatic and while I do like them, am I being a quartz snob?
The tissot prx is stunning. Waiting to see if I can find one for $450-500. I can wait since my collection has as been in the ridiculous range for years.
Got the blue-paesly Casioak recently and damn me.. got the all-grey one aswell and looking for another one already.. jeez. It just feels soo good and high quality and it's just a "fun" watch to wear! Weird to say but I actually have fun wearing it😄
All my watches are keepers, I have never sold any of them. Now, I have about 50+. My oldest is a Waltham, dress watch I bought it around 1973, it is only 6.4mm thick, a really simple, beautiful piece.
Honestly, even at $260 I would’ve bought a moon swatch. For me, I live close to Houston so having a timepiece that resembles the ones I’ve seen at the nasa space center is a dream. That said, super messed up to the point where I’m looking to buy the bulova lunar pilot instead
Never heard of the Invicta 1953, maybe I’ll pick one up some time. The Tissot is so much watch for the price. I’ll be skipping the moonswatch entirely. It’s very cool, but is a bit too flimsy for my liking.
My first watch was the timex x Todd Snyder mod 40 with the 24 hour dial in with the green ring and a red arrow second hand. I may have payed a bit more than I should have but I love it as a work watch.
There were still people camping in front of the Swatch shop in Milano a couple of weeks ago for the Moonswatch. Crazy. Anyway, great video, as always :D
I got a ga 2100 and a ga B2100 solar both moded with a stainless Steel casioak and i love them a lot!!! Discovered on your youtube channel Thanks a lot for your videos allways very interesting. 😎😎😎
I like the quartz Tissot watches with quartz COSC certification. Just ETA innards, sometimes Precidrive I think. I can’t understand the enthusiasm about the Powermatic 80 movement, but I guess QUARTZ IS EVIL MECHANICAL IS GOOD.
Unrelated to watches, as I don't own a single one, despite watching various watch videos recently, it's nice to see Iain Banks on your bookshelf. That Tissot with the grid face is lovely though, and the Swatch looks like the emperor's New clothes.
I have 3 three of those watches (the Moonswatch, the PRX, and the Casio). I got the Moonswatch (Misson to Pluto) a few weeks ago and since then it hasn’t left my wrist all that often. I love the texture of the material and it’s fun to look at it. The PRX quartz is just as amazing and it looks far more expensive than it really is. As for the G-Shock…The skeleton version of the CasiOak was just too good to resist! There’s no chance I‘ll sell any of them 😅
Just bought the green metal Casioak and love it. I've been eyeing the PRX for a while, and it might be a future purchase. Have zero interest in the others.
Hi Jody another great re-review, never bought any of these and won't bother now. I do have a Pagani " Speedy" on the way though. Keep up the good work.
I was at an Omega store a few days ago and it turns out they're trying to get in on the Moonswatch hype. They had the nerve to release one in steel! They're becoming the new San Martin.
Hahaha 😂😂

I've got 2, the stainless and the black one. Both on dark green leather nato straps, with corresponding hardware... a super sweet watch for 100 bucks.
The Invicta 1953 is an excellent wear. Looks good, feels good. Recommended!
Agree mate. Ignore the brand, enjoy the watch.
I have a soft spot for Invicta as it was my first mechanical watch, my gateway watch if you will into the fun and crazy world of horology 😁
@@JustOneMoreWatch The brand is fine. I have four Invictas and the ones with the NH35 movement are surprisingly accurate - I suspect they are regulated, which would be remarkable.
yup i have the invicta 1953 very nice watch i bought it 2 years ago at the beginning of the pandemic
Where can the original (no color bezels) Invicta be found? I do want one, but it seems to have been vanished from planet Earth... Only the colored bezels remain
I wanted to get a Moonswatch. After seeing the reviews on how it felt cheap; I got a Pagani Design PD1701 V3 off the Ali Express summer sale for $78.
Amen brother !!!
Me2, do you like it?
At the minute still waiting delivery. (always a nervous time with Ali.)
@@frankowot4 It's on the way!
San Martin are next level good for the money. Glad you like it mate!
@@JustOneMoreWatch Cheers Jody! 😊
Agreed. I love my Lunar Pilot. However, it’s a chonky boy. I can see why it wouldn’t be for everyone.
Nice video!
Gold plated 40mm PRX 😍😍😍
@@JustOneMoreWatch Right? That one has the potential to be a real stunner.
Would you recommend the pagani? What is the build quality like?
I send it back though since it felt very flimsy and cheap
Last one was the casioak.
@@vf9717 I meant my hype. 🥱😂
I have only the Casioak, have never found the Invicta at a price I’m happy with and as for the Moon Swatch, well, chance would be a fine thing.
Yeah they're really crap watches. People just buying hype and nothing more.
The Invicta 1953 looks utterl gorgeously classic!
Picked up the Tissot PRX after reviews such as yours and have loved it since buying it. The bracelet is fantastic and I love the look of it.
YDHTSAF - You don't have to spend a fortune
IYDWT - If you don't want to
TGAGW - To get a good watch
OYW - On your wrist
Love your videos Jody!
@Doodoo Brown Thank you for revealing what the shirt said. I never would have figured it out!
I'd say my hottest budget watch of the last 5 years was Chris Ward 's Sealander. Unbeatable. And yes, it's big enough brand now, not just micro.
CW best under $1000 for sure.
As petty as it might be, CW’s branding just turns me off. I wish they had a more subtle logo mark.
@@tineye5100 If this is the only complaint, then I can say with 100% certainty: CW makes the best watches in the world.
Jody, how about a rundown of budget bracelets? I have a watch that desperately needs a bracelet and I'd love some guidance.
Bought the CasiOak in yellow and can't get enough of it. There are a few things I would change, but, I really do like it. I wear it 5 days. week.
2 for 5
Joined the Casioak squad with a G-Shock GMAS2100.
Man those Timex GMT’s are just fabulous!
Regards
I bought a casioak clear case & band last year. The watch has a retro feel and isn’t oversized, which I like.
It takes a big man to admit he stood in line for the MoonSwatch false start 😉. I live the look of the PRX. It looks like an affordable Zenith Defy.
Has to be yellow mate. Good job! 💛
Nice watches. I’m really digging the solar/Bluetooth Casio oak.
I picked up the Coke Invicta 1953 to round out my soda collection. Great watch.
In the Swiss Newspaper "Handelsblatt" the wrote a few days ago the now Omega has
problems with delivering the real speedmaster due to high demands.
For me as I getting far-sighted with the age, was considering the speedmaster but
later decided to buy a IWC 377709.
The Casioak is on my shopping list, I will have it modded. The watch is great, the mods just take it to another level.
Where the moonswatch story ended for me was with a Bulova lunar pilot .
I think Seiko has an absolute banger with their new sport 5 GMT. I predict it will be a popular watch.
For sure!
Cheers!
Cheers David!
Hi Jodie , do you think the new Seiko 5 GMT may be this year's new hot watch?
Jody. This T-shirt is class! 😂👏🏻
I have 5 CasiOaks and a PRX Quartz, all are keepers. Great video Jody.
I got my prx 80 Powermatic dec 2022 for my engagement present after I proposed in Paris and I love this watch I wear it all the time
That plastic back of the MoonSwatch is honestly something the manufacturer of a freaking Casio homage wouldn't dare to do.
I've got 1 of the 5, the Casioak - great comfortable, light watch and for £75 from Amazon, bargain!! Plan to make it 3/5 - PRX and Moonswatch
Tissot and CasiOak have survived the Jody Flip Test and are part of my collection. 1953 very cool if you need that style of diver mate, for sure!
@@JustOneMoreWatch The Tissot and a Casioak will 100% be in my collection in the not very distant future.
There are so many terrific affordable watches. It’s a great time to collect affordable watches!
I have a Tissot Gentleman, I think a PRX will also join the collection, in Powermatic of course
