my son and i just saw this last night. i'm glad i had 3d glasses on because at the end i was crying like a baby. my son love it. the kids in he audience love it. in one scene i heard a little girl say, " awwww". go see it.
Chris, We all Koreans here are so much impressed and we all cried out~~. Something just bursted out from inside of us. We all thank u for your so much sophiscated and deep story of the movie. so much much thank u Chris~!
Chris Sanders was a guest speaker at my USC animation class. He was incredible. I've always been a fan of his work and seeing the man behind the pencil was amazing!
I saw this in the theater today with my partner and our 2 1/2 year old, and we all absolutely loved it. It was cute and held my daughter’s attention, while it hit my partner and I right in the feels over and over and over again.
Thank you so much for making this movie! Its beautiful, filled our hearts and left our eyes in wonder! I miss this look of a movie so much. I love this way so much more. It makes it more imaginitive and beautiful! I loved this movie and so did my kids:):)
Peter Brown is a once in a generation talent, on a level with A. A. Milne. Very wise to reboot all the imagery and not attempt to animate Brown's original artwork. It would have disappointed too many people who already have a relationship with the 2d art. So now there is original Roz, forever, existing as she has for everybody who loves her, and there's also new Roz, a separate creation. I also love that I haven't seen toys from this film yet and I hope I don't.
Chris Sanders made another stunning winner for DreamWorks with The Wild Robot. And I hate to sound unpopular but Brother Bear was the last good hand drawn movie before Disney moved on full time to CGI!
I'm looking into the future and this is what I see in February/March 2025. "The nominees for Best Animated feature are, Piece by Piece, Inside Out 2, Transformers 1, The Wild Robot, Lord Of The Rings: War Of the Rohim. And the Oscar goes to..............The Wild Robot. Announcer: This is the 1st Oscar and 4th Nomination for Chris Sanders. He was nominated in this category for Lilo & Stitch, How to Train Your Dragon, & The Croods" Also nominations for Best Picture, Adapted screenplay, Score, Song (Kiss The Sky)
Hey Universal Pictures and DreamWorks Animation! Any chance of a crossover movie with "The Bad Guys" and "Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken" will release in 2027 or 2028, a third "The Bad Guys" movie will release in 2028, a "Ruby Gillman" sequel will release in 2026 or 2027, a Webs and Diane Foxington spin-off movie, and a Agatha Gillman prequel movie? Thanks! 🦑🐺🐍🕷️🐟🦈🦊 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻💪🏻👏🏻👏🏻😁😊😃
Very unimpressed with the wild robot. The animal characters were overtly disneyesqe. The story was so humanistic with no spiritual sensibility. It was frenetic almost non stop animated energy that never went anywhere except to me into a gaggy cutesy ad nauseum. This was a souless trite overdone piece. A shame for if it had shown some restraint by a powerful director it may have achieved something of itself. Otherwise it reeked of committee over reach in its artistic direction.
The animal characters were hand painted, inspired by Bambi. The entire story was about Roz's spiritual journey. The frenetic energy is just how the wilderness is. It had a lot of soul and thought put into it.
@@plkeough because Halloween is coming next month nobody likes animated no more plus Joker follies a deux is coming out next week that’s big nobody cares about heart robots can’t feel love robots not real robots are imaginary there are people behind screens they are actual actors
Chris Sanders brought me my childhood with LILO and Stitch and How to train your dragon, 2 of the best animated movies.
I could say the same thing. 🤓
Same
I think he only directed the first httyd. But he was an executive producer.

Your great film is a great tribute to the animators of the Golden Age of Film...
If I never saw another CG animation I would not miss it. This movie was such a beautiful work of art
This film is a gem. ❤

Just saw the movie yesterday it was really good!!
Chris Sanders so underrated as a director. If he was from Pixar he would get way more recognition.
Lilo and Sitch and How To Train Your Dragon c'mon.
DreamWorks maybe hit and miss. But I love Pixar more than any other animation studio. By the way, you forgot The Croods
I really enjoyed this interview with Chris Sanders. It was interesting and informative! Looking forward to seeing the movie this weekend!
Went to see the movie today with my kids and it was the most amazing movie I have seen in a very long time!! ❤

When I read The Wild Robot in 3rd grade, I knew it was my favorite book.
Film was so good. Don’t know what was better for me this year….beetlejuice, Deadpool or the wild robot
How about Transformers One. That’s the absolute best I’ve seen this year
Yes she's a magnificent actress..
Can't wait to see it all done...
I can’t wait to see this movie, and I have no little ones!!😂
Its so good!
It’s a little intense for very young ones. It’s so well done though!
I grew up with those films too like Bambi...
In terms of Disneys hand drawn years, I love Snow White & Cinderella the most.
such passion
this movie is the quality of work Disney thinks it makes
Disneys last masterpiece was Encanto. And it went hit and miss from there
I WATCHED IT TODAY :>

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is way better than the wild robot because of Halloween
Totally different genres. One moves the heart; the other moves the fear.
