Mind Space is pretty relaxing. The dice are almost incidental - they just align the colors to the shapes, and then you choose where to fill in the shapes on your "brain." Each color has slightly different rules you have to follow to get points.
3:16 I have played both. I think it has a better challenge to it. Yes it shares a lot of similarities to Wingspan, but only enough to appreciate the design, mechanics have their own feel and how it plays.
Hi Mike, afaik Primeval Peril is not an expansion, but rather a "bite size" standalone Sleeping Gods. It 1st came out as a Print & Play alongside the Distant Skies Kickstarter campaign, but recently got its own separate release as a full game :) Ooh, Ü ended up getting it! I'm so jelly, hahaha It's still on my wishlist as I'm still too broke to get me a new game
I picked up Paper App Dungeon as an impulse buy a few days ago. While I like the idea of it, the implementation is not very good. Movement rules are vague, multiple contradictory rulesets exist, the website is not helpful in resolving any of the confusion, and the pencil die is useless. Also, it’s just not much fun. Honestly, the best thing I can say about it is that I only wasted 10 bucks.
I really liked Wyrmspan on a first try. Have you played any of them yet? I currently am about 3/4 of way through a first play of Sleeping Gods Distant Skies and having a great time.
@@BoardgamesforOne my going solo first has made me drop the cycle of getting games because others may like it, and grails, knowing I won't get to it. It is like Europa Universalis: The Price of Power. I had to get it. It will never get played.

Dude, burncycle $70, very cool and meaty game, $150, swoop on that
It’s a good deal. But would I have the time to play it 🤔
Uprising is a lot of fun
Ah I’ll have to look at it again.
This is sanity calling... put the Lacerda game down and step away from the shelf! 🥷
Yes sir
@@BoardgamesforOne Lacerda games call one to get them. But... then there is the reality.
@@thegamesninja3119 yep. Reality helps make those hard decisions
