I replaced the toner and mount the old chip. now I can take copy but still I see empty on the screen ! I think I should reset the chip ! toner is working but printer show me empty ! do you any suggestion about that?
I am trying to replace the original toner (from purchase) the way you show here, but the chip does not come out. It seems really attached to the plastic. I carefully cut the black plastic tracks away from the chip, but it still seems like glued below? Any idea how to resolve that?
Oh man! I needed to see how long the tape was when you pulled the tab and you did that off camera! I pulled mine and it doesn’t detach by itself for like 15 inches! Do I cut it or keep pulling?

i did the same and I replaced the chip from the hp toner to the oem toner but the problem the printer stil show me that reading from the old chip . i just replaced yellow one . its full as it s new but the chip shows me empty. though its printing . how can we force or reset the chip to read the new info. thanks

Just get the HP 414x and you’ll have the best longest lasting toner and will cost you same as the cheap stuff in the long run.
@@boriskogan7903 those aftermarket cartridges hold about 40% of lousy toner compared to the HP 414x according to “online” experts.
