I found This Artist many years ago now... When my own life was in turmoil..
The words, emotions and, i hope, the sentiment that he offered me were a major part of what helped me from a chaotic catharsis that was my slow march, yet again toward suicide.
As his music evolves - as my life continues.. I find myself yet again in the awe that is SYML.
Another Amazing bit of class in a world littered with duplicitous, vacuous tracks.
I will always love the way I feel when I hear this artist... for it reminds me of the days I lost everything.. everyone... when all I had was My own hope and determination not to let myself kill myself... and music like this that helped me heal my many wounds.

She’s more like my mom than a grandma. She taught me so much but the most important thing I take from her is the strength she had.
From early on she’s battled disease and loss and yet she played the mother roll not only for me but for many of my cousins as well.

I've been dealing with anxiety, alcoholism, loneliness and my grandmother was diagnosed with anaplastic thyroid carcinoma and given 4 months to live in January. I was good at holding back tears, been doing it for days straight but when i listened to it yesterday, i just burst out crying. The lyrics hit my heart in a way that it comforted me.
