Well Presented ! I dont know why other "craps experts" on the Tube of Yous rarely If Ever address the "off-on" utility of place and lay bets !.......This Vid illustrates some of your early wisdom of playing the Light Side from the Dark in appropriate denominations ! Thank You !

Love this concept and can't wait to use it next time I go (tomorrow 🙂) I think you may have overstated it a bit though. At 7:36 there was a new shooter and you turned bets on and rolled a seven but didn't take down your bets.

Well done...you are getting ready for 7 after 5 roll..we need that

Going through the Toolbox series again. This time in order and taking notes. Adding these notes to others that I have collected from other bloggers.

Love it as this is close to how I play! Only let it go 3 rolls per shooter, only working after a 7 out. 3 rolls and then off while transitioning to a DC or Come progression depending on the shooter. Great video as always!!

Some years ago I tried a strategy similar to this. Then the dealer didn't take me off when requested and lost everything when the devil reared it's head.

Having a roll limit makes a lot of sense and allows some breathing space for the seven to not take you out so soon.
Probability wise the come out roll you're off and can't PSO, so that leaves 4 rolls you're actually exposed to the seven. The probability of not getting a seven is 30/36, so lasting 4 rolls without the seven has a (30/36)^4 = 48% probability of success, just shy of a 50/50 proposition. Not bad for progressing bets patiently, although the seven can appear on any roll.
Interested to know what your thoughts are on cutting it back to 3 rolls exposure (4 rolls total) as the probability of surviving 3 rolls is much better, almost 59%. I've used 3-4 rolls as my trigger to turn off or regress bets and it seems to work quite well (despite missing an extra roll of potential profit), that extra 10-11% in your favour seems to be effective for preserving established bets, bankroll or locking in profits.

Yes, whatever you feel like is your roll exposure limit is correct. Its your money. Every bet you make while playing you should feel comfortable with. Limiting your amount of rolls will limit your losses far more than limit your wins, which in turn makes it GOOD!

You’re correct. This is perhaps the single most important aspect of the game. I cant tell you how many times I’ve been at a table and seen players, and myself for that matter, go out and hit a single number four, five times or more during a session. It’s times like this where the money is made. Full press in those instances may pay for your entire outlay. You don’t know when a long roll is going to come so it pays to press up when the table is perceived to be hot. Initially I like to use hits on the come out or field to pay for as many place bets as I can get out there. If you wait too long to build up your numbers you’re risking a seven with the odds as the number of shots thrown increases. Best to get as much money out there as quickly as you can and hope for the best using a flexible don’t come contrarian strategy to hedge losses. And that’s all I got to say about that.

Fantastic, I like it. You guys that have had lots of casino experience can really attest to the ups and downs and how it rarely goes how practice goes.

I do like to press some when I'm hitting numbers and I have collected my money back. But it is tough getting PSO's.....I will at least press the 6&8 up 1 unit if I'm hitting....I do get scared sometimes after a half a dozen hits and will turn my place bets off and when a 7 comes, people think I'm a genius. If no 7 hits a few rolls, then I'll turn back on for a few and keep pressing if I've gotten my original money back.

I agree with you on some things and disagree on others.
I disagree with players who lead out with small bets.
No matter what happens, most times they have no idea when to take it down, or regress. The seven can come after the first hit though the sixth hit. It doesn’t matter if they are same betters, or press better the seven eats them alive because they don’t know how to chart/read the trend of the table.
The best way I have found to over come this is to bet higher limits then regress after the first hit or if your super aggressive two hits then you must regress and lock up a profit. That way the seven when it comes won’t devastate you.
The seven is always coming. The best you can do is be prepared for it ASAP.
Being in control of the hits your going to take and guessing about the seven are two major things which separate the gambler from the gamer.
I have plenty more to say but don’t want to write a book.

I agree Skill. I will bet big and as long as I can hit 2 or 3 times then I regress and collect on the small bets. Great video @wagermethis

555 Got to try to enlighten you on why your wrong
I’m saying all the player needs is ONE hit. Not 2, 3,, 4, 5, or 6.
If the same or press player has $22 inside, then stop and think how many hits do they need to show any profit? Answer is 3 for a press player, and 4 for a same bet player.
My risk and exposure is far less than theirs.
      The odds are the same!
All I have to do is weather any pso-point seven out. With a correct size bankroll it will be harder to kill me than either one of them.

I like that idea of going off after five rolls, trying to dodge that 7. Then dipping your toe back in when it feels right. How manys the time when the feeling of slight panic comes because you realize your place bets have been out there, exposed for too long. Then along comes that 7 to ruin everything. Just tell the dealer all bets off.

I like to press a number on the first hit and collect on the second until I have collect twice on any combination of numbers (hit a number 3 times or hit 2 numbers twice each). That way my profit is on the board and I can decided how much I like to gamble going forward. Normal this is increasing 2 numbers by 1 unit each.
Just need to work out when to pull them back or turn them off. A fixed number of throws sounds like a good place to start.

I feel like you are telling my story. I go to the casino feeling bold. $44 Inside please. Then the first shooter PSO‘s, and I tuck back into my conservative shell and slowly burn my bankroll. 🤦🏼‍♂️

OK, here is my favorite press strategy for the 6 and 8. Start with a $30 6 and 8. When it hits thrown down a $1 and go to $66. The next time it hits, throw another $1 and take it to $144. When it hits again, take down $300 and leave $12.. It only takes three hits with $32 at risk.

Great information but I’m not a total fan of it. I like the pressing of it. But I rather start higher bets and regress then start the press
