    Great video! Only thing I would suggest is use lose the clamp and use a spade shovel with duck tape on the end. Lay the rim on a towel next to a wall. Put the shovel point next to the rim and jump on it, using one hand against the wall to keep your balance. You can break both sides of the bead in 10 seconds, no sweat. Also, 3 levers makes it a quick 1 man job. Easy peasy

    This is one thing all riders need to know how to do, I’ve always mounted and balanced my own tires but it got it off the bead differently, Im gonna try your way next time.

    This is a great idea... most dealerships and indy's charge 100 dollars a wheel to mount and balance in this area...I'm changing my own next time.

      I own a motorcycle shop and a tire machine and I will pay someone to change my tire I hate doing it I’ve done it for way too long

      Everyone needs to change there tire once tho so they can learn it's better to pay your local shop but like they said unless you are a regular or know the dudes good luck getting a shop to put a wasted tire on your bike so you can drift

    Although I'd like to do this myself,

    Motion pro also makes bead breaker levers… much easier than the c clamp. 🤓

    I bought harbor fright one definitely easier to break the bead but was a pain in the ass to get the second bead on I pinched the tube the fist time had to replace and do it again

      There’s not really any point in balancing them, but if you feel the need you can get a hang balancer at Harbor freight for like 30 bucks they were pretty good and easy to use

    My employer used to make me change tires on the semi I drove... I still think it's harder to change a motocross tire. Try a 120/80-19 for a stiff sidewall😢... It's better to hit the rotor with your knuckles then the sprocket😂

    Question if you dont have an eleectric air tire inflator only a manually push pump air inflator how can you pop up the bead inside???

    Motion pro has bead breaker tire spoons that I use. No need for the c clamp and board if you use those.

      100% makes life so easy motion pro levers and another 1 or 2 spoons and you can break a Harley bead in 20-30 seconds.

      @@kruesioriginals yes sir. I use them weekly. I became the tire changer for all my friends 😂. One has a fork end and the other has an end that goes into the fork part you squeeze them together and pop the bead. Then the other ends are regular spoon ends

    If you take a spade bit the size of the C clamp head and put a recess in the 2x4 that should lock it in and keep from slipping off.

    I put my tires in a bench vise to break the bead .. have gotten a 180 sqeezed in it..

      I don’t balance Harley Davison tires I think it’s a waste of time. But you can get a Harbor freight hang balancer for like 30 bucks they work pretty good.

    What about scratching the hell out of those rims?... Your better off with some real tire spoons and a few rim guards. They sell a nice kit of three rubber handled spoons and 3 thick rim guards on amazon for like $25+free shipping..

    just get out a sharp knife .. cut around the side of the tire in the middle of the sidewall . both sides and voila .. tire can be taken off easy now

I found a chain conversion on ebay for 250 or 300 then I saw the kit on your site when I was looking for a tuner. Do you think it would be a bad idea to get the conversion on ebay to save a little money or should I just get the better one

    I got an old(like new condition) sportster wheel and tire kicking around that I want the rubber off of and sell the wheel. Ima try this for the hell of it, good on the road skill to know but ima pay a shop to swap my Dyna’s tires, cause I ain’t risking fucking one of them up…Shit happens 🤷🏻‍♂️

      Most if not all wheels will already have tires on them, you have to get it off first. If you didnt need to know how to remove it, just skip that part?
