If something goes wrong with the laptops of existing employees they get the old ones depending upon the version and/or the physical condition of the laptop. I'm not sure what they do with the ones that aren't usable at all or too old version.

learn c first, like recursion , function , syntax of c, pointers, structures and then learn syntax of c++. Then learn STL library and after STL you can now move to DSA. In DSA also start from array , string and then move onto tree and graphs later.
