I’ve always said everybody loves jamaica except Jamaicans … The impact that little island has all over the world always amazes me . I met a family from Guam at a restaurant a few years ago an when they asked me where I was from , I said jamaica an all they wanted to talk about was how pretty the island was

Someone should send these vlogs (Titus and Oliver) to Babsy Grange because the ARTS need more support from the Jamaican government. Jamaica is a brand. We must try and cultivate every area of the ARTS for Jamaica to keep the "little but we tallawah" image as a rounded, par excellence country. In addition, try and get a contract with Netflix to upload Jamaican plays. 🇯🇲🇨🇦💞

Yendi, Titus forgot to tell you in his early days he also worked at Jamaica Telephone Company. I met Glen through my hubby who also worked at JTC and he was always making you laugh as he did now. All the best for Glen and his family and of course Yendi. Always a pleasure watching your interviews.

Happy I saw your post about Glen working at Jamaica Telephone Company because I worked there too when he was there. He was very humble and very approachable even though he was beginning to gain star power so to speak. The first time I was watching The Yendi Show and it was because of the Glen factor which made me decide to finally watch an episode. A very good show and I learned a lot from both Glen and Yendi.

But I must say that as a native of another Caribbean island I have always looked to Jamaica as the mecca for Caribbean performing arts so was surprised that the arts doesn't receive bigger financial support. Jamaica missing out and not teaching theatre in school as a subject because they do it for speech, dance and singing competition.
All the schools that participate in these competitions teach theatre/arts indirectly.
On the other hand, there is an opportunity for establish actors to open their own acting school/observatory across the island.
