I've wanted a punch board but didn't want to spend $25-30 on Amazon. I found one this week in a thrift shop...the same one in this video...for $3 and I was so excited, but I was not understanding instructions correctly, so my envelope was all kinds of weird! I was lining up the corner to the measure line every time I turned it, so you can just imagine what that looked like! Thank you for showing me the correct way...now I can make all kinds of fun tiny envelopes for junk journals! WOO HOO!!! 🤗
Ceri to the rescue!!! I found one at a thrift store recently in the green/white and agreed it was too hard to see and I couldn't figure it out! I came straight to your channel to see if you had tips on how to make envelopes and voila! Problem solved! You're like a gift that keeps giving! Thanks so much for all you do for our little part of the crafting world!
I never knew these existed! What a great little gadget, and very well explained instructions on how to use it 👏👍 I love the bonus at the end. You could make a box to fit the mini file folders! 😃 would make a great little filing system 😊
Completely agree with you about the colour contrast on the lighter coloured board. It is hard to read. Thanks for the envelope making demonstration - all your videos are very inspiring
Thank goodness for this video! I found one of these punch boards at a charity shop for $3; and I was one chuffed crafter! But all the numbers confused me!
Thank you for this. I have this envelope maker, and it sits in my drawer because it scares me. I’m going to haul it out, follow along with your video, and make envelopes. I love your wonderful file folder hack! 🙏🇨🇦
Very useful info, I'm going to dust mine off again and have a try. Love the file folder idea too. Yes I'm a newbie to your channel, have been binge watching you for 2 weeks.
I love my envelope punch board. I find that the way to keep envelopes’ size consistent is to measure twice, once each on opposite sides of the paper, then use the score mark as a guide on the other two sides. I use my board to make envelopes and small gift boxes, and also a wonderful envelope album which so far I have used to keep and display my origami folds. When the score needs to go off the board, simply flip over the paper and make a score line at the top to match with the half score line you already have. I do this by using the measure and it almost always works.
Great video, Ceri. I started using my envelope punch board two or three weeks ago. I had to really pay attention to what I was doing because my first envelopes came out wonky. Since reading the instructions I found that it's easy as can be and the envelopes make great additions to books. Again, great video!!
👏👏Thank you Ceri for another great video. I not only learned how to use my board, but I had No idea there was a corner rounder. I always learn neat tricks watching you. Thanks again
Wonderful tutorial!!! Oh my Lord I have had an envelope maker (in the colors of your fist one) for years and have never figured the darn thing out! You are absolutely brilliant Thank you so much Ceri!! What a gem you are ❤️
dude you rock!! i've had this thing for yeeeeears haha and only used it about once or twice never really knew what the measurement really meant just laziness on my part 😬 but i do now and that file folder tip GOLD!
Well you are the person I'm sending newbies to. You do a great job explaining things. I hope you'll do a playlist for helpful instructions for beginners. Love&hugs to you & Biscuit
I like the WRMK punch board because of the rounded notch, but as I'm from the UK the size guide doesn't work for typical A7, A6 and A5 cards, or metric square cards, as they measurements are for American card sizes. But I managed to figure out the measurements for UK card sizes. I also found that some of the measurements were a bit too much of a snug fit, I like to have at least 1cm 'wiggle room' around the card especially if there's a dimensional embellishment.
Ceri, when you started to show me your trick of a file folder tab, I thought you were going to show me how to make paper rick rack. I bet a person could easily do that also! Paper Rick Rack.... I've got to try that for to add to the edge of a page. ........ hmmm.
Great tutorial Ceri! I’ve only tried using mine once and my envelope was all wonky as I made the mistake of using the measurement each time I scored!😂. I did finally figure it out that day an made one successfully. Might have to pull it out and use it now!
Hi, Ceri. My old light blue and white 1-2-3 Punch Board (that makes envelopes, bows, and boxes) flips open so you can read the size charts on the left side and then do scoring/punching on the right side. At the center bottom of the inside right side, a piece of plastic marked a Score Extender actually pivots out and clicks into place, extending the score lines so the user can make larger envelopes, bows, and boxes. I'm wondering if you have something similar under or inside your newer WRMK envelope maker? Check it out. Thanks for demoing this. Instructions for using my board are very poor. Even with the enclosed Instruction Book, I had to thoroughly examine every line and try to read the plastic to find necessary score areas, etc. I've wanted to experiment with my board for a while and it helped to do it along with you. TFS. From Cheryl in AZ, USA
I have had my envelope scoreboard for several years now and only found out a few days ago it has a flap that folds out for the larger sheets. It is different to yours but you may find it underneath.

Thank you! Ive been trying and failing miserably to make envelopes. I was scoring wrong but successfully made an envelope after this so THANK YOU!
Wonderful
The corner rounding tip!! I had no idea... I haven't seen anyone talk about that one! Thanks!
I never knew these existed! What a great little gadget, and very well explained instructions on how to use it 👏👍 I love the bonus at the end. You could make a box to fit the mini file folders! 😃 would make a great little filing system 😊
Glad it was helpful, great idea for the mini files.
Thank you for this much needed tutorial; as I have an envelope punch board that I've yet to try. I guess now I don't have any excuses!😁
Lol
Thank you!!! It was a magical mystery fail until I watched your video!!! So organized and totally clear instructions with the video!!!!
Glad it helped!
Thank you Ceri. I have one of these but never knew how to properly use it. Now I do.
Great news.
Thanks Ceri, I’m troubled about the large envelopes as well and thought I was missing something. There is probably a trick we don’t know about :-)
Apparently some envelope boards have an extension arm which mine does not and I’ve never seen one either.
Completely agree with you about the colour contrast on the lighter coloured board. It is hard to read. Thanks for the envelope making demonstration - all your videos are very inspiring

Happy I could help.
Genius idea to make a file folder tab. Thank you Ceri. ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you, not my original idea but well worth sharing.
Thanks for the additional corner rounder tip!
Happy to help!

Thank you Ann and welcome to my channel.
Great how-to!! I never thought to use mine to make a file folder...thank you for the idea!! 📂😉
Not my original idea but definitely a very useful one, I do them all the time out of scraps.

Thank you Sandi.
Ceri , you have completely demystified the envelope punch board for me! And the file folder at the end-genius!
Thank you, the file holder wasn’t my idea I saw it being done a few years ago when I first bought my board and have always done it with scrap card.
Wonderful tutorial!!! Oh my Lord I have had an envelope maker (in the colors of your fist one) for years and have never figured the darn thing out! You are absolutely brilliant Thank you so much Ceri!! What a gem you are ❤️
So happy to have been able to help.
Thanks so much Ceri. Just found you today and you are already my favorite teacher!
Betty, you are welcome thank you.
Thank you for this video! I've seen them, but I've never bought one.
Do I need one? No.
Do I want one now? Yes...
There are plenty of ways to make an envelope without the board but if you’re someone who mass makes it helps keep uniformity of sizes.
dude you rock!! i've had this thing for yeeeeears haha and only used it about once or twice never really knew what the measurement really meant just laziness on my part 😬 but i do now and that file folder tip GOLD!
Fantastic

I plan lots of how to videos
Where was this when I muddled through how to use mine! Lol... thanks Ceri
You’re welcome.
Fantastic video! This explains it in a way I finally get. Thank you! 🙏🏻

I agree you need to give and write down what works for your makes as the dimensions don’t work for everything.
Thank you. I appreciate the pointers for when I get one.
You’re welcome.
I too, have one, but have never used it! I will now!
It’s a great way to use up paper and card stock.
Always love your videos. Thanks.
Thank you

Bonnie great idea let us all know if it works.
Oooh! Your tip! Brilliant!!! Thank you!!!
You’re welcome.

Sounds like a plan Dee, good luck.
CraftyRia, here on TH-cam, shows how to do oversized envelopes.
Thank you I’ll look into that.

Thank you I’ll take a look at my board for a possible extender.
I also have the 123 board I like it and love making the bows.
Great information! Thank you!
You’re welcome.
COOOOL 💖💛🧡💖❤💝
Thank you
What is the glue you have used? Where can I get it? It has a really nice fine applicator, good for precise gluing.
It’s called Art glitter glue, that is the brand, you have to buy the applicator separately. I bought mine on Amazon.
I have had my envelope scoreboard for several years now and only found out a few days ago it has a flap that folds out for the larger sheets. It is different to yours but you may find it underneath.
I don’t know how to add a photo of my board on here.
Thank you Sally, I’m away from home at present but I’ll check out my board when I get home to see if I have anything like that on mine.
Hi I've seen someone's video on making a bigger envelope but I can't remember who it was,
Than, you Jan I’ll do a bit of a search.
Have just watched a video by "Craftyria" on how to make oversized envelopes.
I’ll have to take a look myself thank you.
All You do is fold on the score and and then score the fold to the end
Thank you Norma.
Just get on with it instead of waffling on andon gets boring
