This is the first video that ive seen where you can hear these properly. I know these were built by Metro Cammell at the sametime as the London 1973 stock but never knew just how much these sounded like a London tube train.
These were built by Metro Cammell in Birmingham who also built many of Londons Underground fleet including the 1973 stock which were built alongside these.
All gone! 3 months, way too efficient at replacement. I'm glad you managed to film this one
qqqqq🤫
I'm glad too, it was so sudden when they announced they were getting withdrawn. To me at least

I'm glad that I was able to record the sound properly for you 👍
They actually sounded pretty similar to MTR's M-Trains as well, which were built by Metro-Cammell in 1979.
Holy shit... a train from the early 1980s that is still running and not even refurbished at all?! Thats preservation right there but next level
I'm pretty sure they're slowly being replaced by new, recently-introduced trains.
They’re in the process of replacement right now. And a few minor refurbishments have occurred
They’re all gone now. Retired in favour of more modern units.
Pointing out the defaced emergency access sign was entertaining to say the least 🤣
It's on every single train car we could find 😅
Classic looking spaceship train
have you seen the new rolling stock on the Glasgow Subway yet?
Not in person, it was not running when we made this video
Love the thumbnail
Fun!
Yo glitchfan can u review the class 172 which is a special diesel multiple unit train that has a 6 speed zf ecomat?
I'll look that up!
@@glitchFan2428 They're under WMT which also operate the 323 that has a very unique sounding traction sound
Interior quite close to sg mrt train except the door to another train also close to 51k subs

A Scotland video
Like how one door is slower
the good old clockwork orange
Damn, Our KHI Trains look much older (even after refurbishment!) than these Trains!
Round trains similar to london's
Indeed
