You are correct. Don’t know where I got magnets from, my bad. I’ll update the description. It may also explain why after using for some more time the lens hood has developed a habit of falling off.
@@ChristopherMichaelLaw as in the cover? or the actual lens hood? because if the filter cover is starting to fall off I may be a bit concerned, I don't know if I'm a fan of that, I just ordered the filter.
Sorry, I didn't explain that very well. The plastic lens cap that covers the front of the filter has fallen off twice since I made the video, both on the same shoot. It hasn't happen again. Maybe I just hadn't put it on properly or maybe I'd knocked it loose or something, hard to tell.
Maybe cus of Nisi Jetmag which uses strong magnet, and interlocking system, but no adjustable CPL yet, but it's rumored. Along with square nd adapter ring. But that's jsut something other creators have mentioned. One claimed they are working on it. @@ChristopherMichaelLaw
Hey nice video😊It is on my list ir cut is a must for Blackmagic cameras…btw I retried after almost one year gyro stabilisation and I notice with resolve beta 18.5.3 it is working much better did you notice any significant improvement?tried with 4K and ciné Lens and 6K 18-35 sigma? Or maybe my hand are more stable anyway nice channel…still on edge S5iiX or 6K pro or G2…
I haven't used it for a while. If it's improved, that's great. I'll have to test it out again. The S5iiX looks like a cool camera ( id like to test it out) but it's more of a hybrid camera then cinema - that's not to say it can't do great video. I think if you need in anyway the specs a hybrid camera offers then you should go with that - if you want to use it as a cinema camera you can rig it up do that but you can't rig the 6K Pro to act like a hybrid camera.
I’ve always heard it being pronounced “knee see”, without exception, until your video. This is the first time I’m hearing “nicey”. I’m curious, is this just your feeling of how it should be pronounced, or did you get this info from NiSi directly, and they officially said the correct pronunciation is “nicey”?
Interesting and funny question. I can't remember if they told me how to say it or not. (they have seen the video and didn't correct it if I was saying it wrong) Maybe part of it is my accent because I thought I was pronouncing it Nye-See as in "the world is nye". Maybe part of it is a US/UK thing like the pronunciation of Nikon. US saying Ni-con, everyone else saying Nick-on. Having thought about it, I think it might be said Nye-Sye like the first part of the word nice and the first part of the name Simon combined. I'll see if i can find the contact details and ask if they have an official way of saying it.
These are the best vnd on the market for image, the slip fit is super annoying and renders these useless to me, you cant use the mist or the ir/uv without the vnd first! that is complete rubbish, i'm surprised you don't see that as a flaw
You can use the ir/uv or mist filter without the vnd. That's what the adaptor in the caddy is for - maybe I didn't fully explain that, if so that's my bad. You screw it on like a step-up ring and then the filters magnetically attach to it.
great video! but is it magnets? I thought it was just a tension based system (which imo has some pros over magnets as well)

Looks like you may have a problem with a matte box.

They have a magnetic system too but no adjustable nd or cpl yet. It's called Nisi Jetmag.
