    By far the best video I have seen on youtube for Skoda Rapid, Specially the cinematography, the sunshine adds elegance in the video, it was a delight to watch your video. Plz continue posting more such videos. BTW which is the camera/ phone that you've used to film it?? I must say the car is very very well maintained.

    • @sachinpatra8735
      @sachinpatra8735  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are staying away for months then diesel is a bad idea brother. Diesel needs to be driven every 10days or so, because if not used for long then diesel injectors migh develop problems. Go for petrol auto 1.6 if your budget is a constraint or of you can be bit liberal with your budget then 1.0TSI auto is a hoot to drive. Things to keep in mind
      -check service records, very important for Skoda
      -look for signs if vehicle has been used with care or abused
      -check for suspension as complete overhaul will cost 50k
      -check for ABS sensor errors in mid or hook it to vcds and see if there are any errors
      -steering rake, listen if it's rattling
      If you can find a clean and well maintained Skoda, it will keep you happy for long.

      D3-D2 transition is jerky when driven at City speeds. Initially I was worried about it but when I took my car to service centre and also drove other DSG equipped cars, I realised that DSG is inherently jerky at city speeds.
      If you feel DSG is missing gears or gear position is blinking in your mid, then something might be wrong. Or else minor jerk at speeds upto 20kmph is normal

      Bhai 4-5.5 lacs ( if first owner) depending on the condition. Bhai dekho Skoda VW aisi cars h k kisi ne acche se maintain ki h, tabhi lena, or else avoid kare wo car. And since you are saying it's a diesel automatic so DSG wali car h, please check kar lo k DSG me kya kaam hua h ya nahi, car highways me chali h to better h agar city use jaada hua h to wear and tear bhi zaada hoga. And 1,80,000kms is high for DSG equipped car so expect DSG mechatronics ya clutch pack ka kaam mamgegi hi car. So keep atleast 1-2 lac for maintenance, worst case me jarurat pad skti h apko. And parts are expensive too because parts mostly Austria Germany me hi bante h. All the best, don't stick to one car, keep looking for alternative also. My honest advice - 1.8L kms run DSG maybe risky

      @sachinpatra8735  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Ganguly2537 Hello bro... 2017 means it's a 7 year old car with 1L kms on odo that too a DSG. I would say 5.5-6.5 would be good price. But do keep in mind that once these VAG cars reach certain age, they get expensive to maintain. And if for god forbid DSG or Mechatronics fail, it's going to cost you a bomb. My honest advice, buy only when the cindition is good and buy the car with an open mind that you may have to spend some money on it. Keep aside 1-2L for possible upkeep or repairs. For example, I have also done 1L kms in my car and I have spent Rs 1,00,000/- in the recent 6 months. Suspension is expensive, I got it overhauled for 60k and then I had to get water pump, timing kit and coolant flushing done which again costed 34k. So yes, these cars are expensive to maintain because most of the parts are sourced from Hungary, Germany, Austria etc.

      Depends on the condition brother, if it's a well maintained one then you can go ahead. And it's advisable that you please check the service records and also if things gets serious then get it inspected at Skoda service centre. They do these pre sale inspection for a charge and it's a worth it. Since car has done 75k kms, do keep in mind that you may be seeing some expenses like tyres, battery, clutch, suspension. Bargain accordingly and also ensure that you keep some funds in case if ths car needs some immediate attention and repair. If the car is serviced on time and well cared, then these cars are fairly reliable and can go 2L easily. Is it manual or DSG and also petrol of diesel?

      @@sowryamasarapu1578 I believe it's the older model of Rapid and that's why there is no switch. But since it's a Skoda, there are a lot of modification possibilities. So VCDS might help you enable the feature and you may need a new wiper stalk with a button. If this also doesn't work then a new instrument cluster will definitely help. Some people on teamBHP have done a lot of modification on their cars, that might help you. Search Gannu TeamBHP, Fluidicjoy TeamBHP They changed the instrument cluster to GTI international ones. more importantly try to find a car with warranty and when you buy it, extend the warranty for 6 years. Because DSGs are very complex gearbox and if something goes wrong with the mechatronic, it will cost you 1-2L for repair.

      Brother I'm sure all these "people" who are telling you not buy Skoda are the ones who don't own Skoda themselves. I would suggest go ahead and buy one and also please buy the "service package". It will cost you 25k and you don't have to pay for next 4 years. If you do the math it's very reasonable on per year basis. Plus Slavia/Kushaq are highly localised so that has already brought down the cost. Take a test drive and you will come impressed. The only cost would be your tyres, battery, insurance which is something you will have to pay in every car, rest service would be covered under the package.

      In heavy and stop-go traffic which requires a lot of idling then mileage takes a hit and gives 10-11kmpl and if moderate traffic then 15-16kmpl

    My DSG gear box failed after 75K KM, it cost me a BOMB Rs 250000.....
    believe me none of the extended warranty helps....
    issue - Mechatronic Issue
    car reaches D1 automatically and it gets locked in D1 forever...
    later it got fixed by replacing complete gearbox and it was a costly affair....

      I agree completely, hopefully my DSG fails within the warranty period, it will get replaced under warranty as has happened with my friends car

      1. Car is not well maintained

      @@960gaming I guess you did right, you have to press the accelerator fully and DSG will downshift and bang, you will get that pushed into the seat! Feeling. If that car didn't do it, stay away from it. It was a diesel automatic right? If it was a petrol 1.6 Auto then that is lethargic engine, can't expect much from it. But if it indeed was a diesel auto then there is something wrong with the car.

      I'm not going to sell my Rapid bro because even for 30L budget, I'm not going to get a diesel automatic car which is fun to drive and efficient at the same time. The only upgrade I feel is the big Germans but I don't have the budget at the moment
