It’s my dream to play here one day with my band, so many amazing bands have played on that stage and I hope one day our name can be added to that list.
Thanks for the info man. I went and checked out a few other well recorded videos and I could see that it was a bass. I didn't know basses were made that thin but my only real experience with a 6 string is John Myung from Dream Theater.
His guitar is a converted 4 string bass, it now has 6 strings. Live you can see the filled in tuning machine holes, here you can't. I believe it is tuned to standard but an octave down.
George Guest It actually is as Bryn Hendry said, it's a four string jaguar that's been converted to six. It has the same idea as the Fender VI but it's a different body style, and if you could see the tuning holes that are filled in you'd probably understand better.
I believe it's based on a Fender Bass VI...which was one of the first electric basses ever designed/made. It's six strings and basically an octave lower than a guitar.
I love Henry so much, TTNG... The most incredible band.
My god this mix is so buttery. Tim Collis is a fucking monster. One of the most creative guitarists I've ever seen.
I've seen this video a billion times and watching Tim from 3:43 to 3:49 still blows my mind
This is one of the best live recordings of TTNG I have ever heard. Props to the Soundy on this one.
Truly a flawless performance! Such a talented group of guys. Much love for TTNG
Really Nice band thank you so much for you good music 👌🎶👌🎶🤔😇
was my favorite band since the beginning of my love of music
chills still to this day from both lead singers
i'm in love with them
Damn, missed the show. But my former band played there back in the late 90's, so that makes me happy. :)
This is amazing. Reminds me so much of American Football and Mike Kinsella as Owen.
It's a custom built bass. I've heard that it was homemade, so that's pretty cool. It's definitely a bass though.
Just saw them in AZ...what a great show. They stated on stage that they would be back for another U.S. tour in October.
There will be 2 more Tera Melos songs, and 2 more TTNG songs from this show over the span of the next few weeks.
I drove up from St. Louis to see this show. TTNG & Tera Melos put on a great show that night, but TTNG only got to play for about 30 minutes.
best band ever, or at least up there
Sound's great! Especially the drums sound tasty
really wish they would come to colorado.... i even considered roadtripping to texas or cali to see them...
amazing live show!
This is what I call ''Avant-garde'' of music!!!!
Perfect band!
Just saw them last night in DC. Incredible show! I can't wait until you're back here!
This is rad for us too!
I am so mad I missed this show, I had to go to a wedding. figures the one time these guys are 3 hours away up north and I miss the show lol
Great mix! I can actually hear the bass for once!
epic drums.
It’s my dream to play here one day with my band, so many amazing bands have played on that stage and I hope one day our name can be added to that list.
Músicos inigualables !!!
brilliant!!!
with the benefit of them being the nicest guys ever

its all drums haha not a bad thing ;) guys a beast.

nah mate its a fender VI...their standard 6 string bass

George Guest Yeah, when I went and saw them, I got to talked to him about it, and he said pretty much what Bryn said.
@@george1drum No, its a custom to look like a fender VI
Look up the fender bass VI.
We hope this helps!
Damn.....
Also, the band name "This Town Needs Guns" is more appropriate in Chicago than probably any other town in this country. heh
Lololol My Dad?
Oh but yeah. this is amazing :3
I believe it's based on a Fender Bass VI...which was one of the first electric basses ever designed/made. It's six strings and basically an octave lower than a guitar.
Is the vocalist using a guitar or a bass? Hearing the bass but not seeing it makes me a little uncomfortable for some reason.
its a mixture of both
that is a weird snare
Does anybody else think the lead singer sounds a bit like Chris form saves the day back in stay what you are? Great tune nonetheless
Henry is Daddy af
probably a baritone guitar
nope
Nope bass
idk. i think its just a normal guitar that they feed through FX to get the bass sound. nothing too special.
nope
