I’ve been playing this game since 2020 and recently got obsessed with phantom liberty. I love this song and I love how Grimes presented it, truly a masterpiece ( and difficult to sing).

The part where she sings "Just reiterate everything" is indeed hard to reproduce.
This is great. To be honest I didn't even think this song had real words I thought it was just pleasant sounds, like Sigur Ros.

I don't even prefer to hear the original version anymore. Not just because I can hear the lyrics but Soda Patch is doing an amazing job with this cover.

If you can't hear the lyrics over the music then it's the engineer, or the producer or anyone else who can also engineer, who made it that way. It has nothing to do with Grimes - unless she's also the engineer. Nonetheless, I still love this version and Grimes' vocals.
At first I thought you were exaggerating but no, Soda Patch's version is superior. Hard to go back to the original now. Her vibrato and trills are too good
