Great wrap-up ! I absolutely have to read The elementals and The knife of never letting go series. Comfort me with apples is also on my tbr and I'm really curious about it.

I can't remember if I saw you review it, but I just read This Is How You Lose the Time War and it was so good!

No, I've never read that one, though I've certainly been intrigued by it. I'm glad you had such an awesome reading experience; I'll definitely keep that one on my radar! :D

May was the best reading month I've had in a long time! I read three 5 stars and one 4.75. It was so close! One of them that you might like was 'the butcher and the wren' by Alana Urquhart. She's the cohost of the true crime podcast Morbid.

Wow, that's an amazing month, congratulations!! I haven't heard of The Butcher and the Wren before, but I'll definitely check it out. Thank you for the rec!! :D

I read a lot of new to me authors last month, since I was going to a book signing event I wanted to read one book from every author that was there. Although my favorite would probably be from one of my favorite authors In Feast or Famine by Mesu Andrews.

Oh wow, that sounds fun ~ love book signings, though I haven't been to one in years!

I've been trying to convince myself to buy Things from the Flood because I really want to read the books in order, but it's such a pricy book! Lol I know it will be worth it but I can't quite press check-out yet 😆Maybe it's good that I want to read them in order because if it's not as good as Electric State, then it won't disappoint me as much! That's sound logic, right?

Actually yeah, that definitely makes sense to me! Sometimes I worry that I've really oversold The Electric State, so yes, definitely allow Things from the Flood to temper your expectations, haha!
