This is the second version I’ve seen of this plot. I really don’t get why the male lead has to divorce his wife. He just keeps telling his wife he has his reasons.

As always, the rationale for leaving makes no sense. Instead of making the son responsible for the SFL's pregnancy, the ML divorced his wife to take responsibility to save face for the other son's negligence.

Always a thumbs down if FL fails to gain self-respect and dignity by the end. ML has zero spine.. didn't treat her with the love and defferance for 3 years of marriage..lied and ket her believe he impregnated mistress and lied about the divorce and caved to parents and broke ties with her .in what universe should she be dumb enough to believe he won't treat her poorly as soon as a new challenge arises. She will always wait along with any future children to be abandoned again...and if they do it once they will ALWAYS do it again . Does China want the world to know this treatment of females is acceptable?
F this. After about 8 mins I realized I had started to watch this before. Now I remember why I stopped watching it. Side note: the eye make up really bothers me. Giving Asians under eyelids or double eyelids makes them look unnatural and like they trying too hard. Just my opinion. Edit: I watched up to 26 mins and realized why I stopped watching the first time. Ml has reasons for divorcing her but cant explain them yet. He gives her 3 conditions one of which is she has to go back with him to see grandma who's health is frail and another is she can't see other men. These made my blood boil. The audacity!. I wish writers whould stop using the grandparent trap. Or I'd like to see one where FL says screw you and your grandparent. Ooooo! 😡😠 If might be okay if fl doesn't get back with the scumbag but it's looking like she will.
