I want to build a 40 unit apartment building on level lot. What type of material that's the cheapest yet durable. I was thinking concrete on 2 level parking on the 1 and 2nd level. What can I look to construct the 5 levels of apartments. Precast concrete, steel, masonry, wood? I live in Honolulu, Hawaii. thanks.

For a mortgage to be affordable, it needs to be half the rent you are paying in a place like NYC. $4,000 rent means $2,000 mortgage for total average monthly expenses to come to a $4,000. Otherwise it’s cheaper to rent.

1st I like using TPO for my roof membrane. Then doing a deck like what your doing above it. You can also use PVC.
