This video was wild!!!! I just love that you treat your children so well. It's so necessary! They're going to grow up to be confident, knowing that they can pursue whatever it is they want. Brooks has grown so much! I remember when he was afraid to hold the fish. Lol!
Man, it’s so cool seeing you have fun being a dad and getting ur kids outdoors! Memories that will last a lifetime. I definitely plan on going down there to catch some peacock’s myself!
Respect Brian for always spending time with and boosting up your kiddo. With as close as you two are you are almost guaranteed to have him want to continue that relationship into his adulthood and these days that is almost a rarity but always great to see. 🤟🏼
I'm offended! You came other my neck of the woods and didn't let a brother know??!?!?!?!? Dirty! Ha! Brooks with the camera is awesome! Can never Get enough of that kid!
Gold lipless crank bait 1 knocker booyah works real nice with the Peacocks and the Berkley flicker shad in red/black with gold. Anything that imitates juvenile peacocks and cichlids.
Never caught a peacock bass. Haven't fished for one yet. Just moved to west central Florida this summer. Now I need to go to Miami! The best videos you make are the ones with your family.
Won a golf trip to Doral in Miami. Golfed every morning, then kept the golf cart and fished the lagoons on the property every afternoon. Lagoons full of largemouth and peacock. Work a zara spook slow to catch largemouth or for heart stopping thrills work it fast for ridiculous peacock hits.
I did some peacock bass fishing in Gatun Lake, Panama. Didn't catch one but another person in the boat caught a pretty nice one. We didn't know where to fish or what to use since we were just visiting with the U.S. Army.
@BrianLatimerFishing I had trouble with true reaction bites though I did have one smoke a spinnerbait. Running that shad rap into their nest over and over triggered a defensive bite.
Next time in Miami, you gotta venture further south down to the FL Keys to do some real, Saltwater bridge fishing. Look up ChadGoneFishing's youtube channel to see what's in store for you and fam.
Oh my sorry that poor lady got you all in your feelings because she didn’t pay tickets that she knew she had… it’s a part of being a responsible adult, knowing that you drive for a living take care of your tickets so that you can drive people safely. She put you all in danger ‼️ You are making such beautiful memories with your young men. I’m so proud of you, you are an amazing dad and father….💜🫶🏽💚💕those fish are so beautiful
@@BrianLatimerFishing don’t beat yourself up over that, there was bigger fish to fry. 💜🫶🏽You were with your kids trying to enjoy your time with them. There was nothing you could do but pay her fines for her if you felt that invested. Pray 🙏 for her and let God be God. Keep your kids safe and focus on them… you’re in unfamiliar territory the devil wants you to be vulnerable so he can take advantage of you, so keep your head on tight… 💕❤️
@@BrianLatimerFishingI admire your compassion for the situation. Some people don’t care until something affects them personally. Caring is not beating yourself up. I hope that lady is blessed with an opportunity to pay her fines and put food on her table. That has become harder for some folks these days. Tight lines from reality 🫶🏾
I feel bad your son had to witness that, but I don't feel bad for her. She 💯 knew she couldn't be driving and the tickets were the warnings. I'm a sympathetic person to those who try to do better and are accountable, when you knowingly drive around when you aren't supposed to then you're not being accountable for your wrong doing. That's 1 major thing missing in today's society, ACCOUNTABILITY

This is great content! I hope to get down there soon to try my luck with the peacock bass.

It was the best birthday gift!
@BrianLatimerFishing o yeah makes you feel good for being and becoming a dad 💯
I have a 7-month-old son. I can't wait to go fishing with him
they love bright bucktail jigs
Man I'm sorry that happened. Your empathy is great. On another note: I've never caught a Peacock bass and in the hunt for them
After it was all said and done…… I don’t think I got to catch one
Let’s not pretend we didn’t see a dinner table under that bridge. 😂
Hey man we should go hit lake Okeechobee an get on some bass
Happy Birthday Brooks! Looks like it was a great day. Prayers for the Uber driver. Not the finger in the booty hole!

Peacock love jerkbaits and white crankbaits. Topwater in low light conditions in the fall qnd spring

It was pretty fun though
Welcome to Miami
Unfortunately, the uber driver suffered consequences for her actions or lack of! But making memories with your kids that worth everything!
Weedless flukes work it like a jerkbait fast they will chase close to the edge and strike!
Plopper or senko would be deadly
My most productive bait for peacock in Miami was an orange shad rap. My second most effective bait was a Fat Ika, rigged reverse wacky.
They were pretty smart! I tried some artificial and they would come out but wouldn’t take it

what does this have to do with fishing?
We found the guy who commented before watching😂
Kinda sad… really sad honestly.
@3:11 I know that felt good😂
Shewwwww

Rapala Husky jerk
👌👌👌
I've never fished in Miami or for peacocks but I'll bet a sluggo would get the job done .
They must of seen the rods?!?!🤔
Is that someone’s living room?
I think so!
I’d be more worried about the needles than anything
Why?
Maybe it’s different in that area, but areas under bridges here are literally piles of used needles, burnt foil, and human waste.
