I've been struggling at this track in Formula Vee this week. Nice to watch you run a few laps a couple of seconds faster than what I can manage. I'm going to apply what I watched you do and see if that helps my form any. Thanks.
As you can see from the video I'm not great at this track, but I think one of the most important things to remember here is to brake early and gently to avoid locking up the rears and them you'll be back on the power nice and early. Also with the temps so high the front tires will go off towards the end of the race and early braking and good apex discipline will help with that too. Good luck!
I met Brandon today too 😂. I was leading 3s ahead of him in 3rd and P2 nudged me drifting wide around T2 just like happened to you which let him in and I finished 0.2 behind him. My app has helped me out big time here and my best has been a 1:33:808. Next week at Navarra will suite you better as it’s the short course.
How has the rest of your season been going so far? I'm not practicing enough ATM my back and leg are all screwed up and I can't spend proper time in the rig. It sucks.
@ that sucks. I’m at the chiropractor weekly for mine. I had a really strong week at Okayama and 2 P2’s this week but I’m not a big fan of this track as there are just not a lot of passing spots for me. I got both my accounts above 2k so I’m making steady progress. I’ve got a lot of pace and I’ve really cut out a lot of the mistakes and when I kale one, I do a way better job at correcting them when I make them. My racecraft just sucks and I leave too many doors open or struggle to make passes. I’ve started practicing in the M2. You think the sim is causing issues? Your seat?
@@nelsonsimracing I’m in the same old guy club. A few years away from being able to become a full time sim racer. These sims are not gentle on us 😁. Speedy recovery.

I slipped on some ice a couple of weeks ago, and then again just this weekend, jarred my leg and back and pulled some muscles. Old guy problems.

Getting old sucks, but it does bring that sweet sweet opportunity for retirement, eventually! ;-)
