I LOVED the Tar Baphon video. I’m also about 2/3 of the way through the “Lord of Runes” Pathfinder Tales audiobook. And I’m looking forward to the new Runesmith class. So, this is PERFECT TIMING for me. 😮👍🏾💪🏾
I absolutely love that you took the time to outline your sources. I love watching lore videos, and I always want to go check out the books that inspired them! I know it takes time to put citations together, so seriously -- thank you!!
I got into Parhfinder ~March of 2023. Never played it before then. Dove in running games. Managed to put hands on War for the Crown and Skull and Shackles to help give me background for my Talden Nobles and Shackles Pirates games, but never really got to read much otherwise other than being gifted Curse of the Crimson Throne. So obviously your and Mythkeepers Channels have been great. Our Taldan Nobles have been in Varisia and Runelord history has come up. I am absolutely vibrating at this. I was afraid I squealed loud enough to wake my wife. I. Cannot. Wait.
Oh man, this series sounds awesome....but I'm still holding out hope that I will get to finish RiseOTRL someday (it's been about 10 years since the 3rd group fell apart), then maybe play in Shattered Star & Return. I'm really not sure what to do. 😢 All of that said, I've been digging your channel since I stumbled upon it and have watched/listened to most episodes several times. :)
To avoid spoilers for Rise, you should be mostly clear if you avoid Days 3 & 5. For Shattered Star, you'd need to avoid days 1, 5, and 7. To avoid spoilers for Return is almost impossible. Sorry. I'm glad you enjoy my other videos, though!
Hooray, thank you! Lissala and her herald are particular topics of my interest. A refresher on general info/presumed “rules” for Heralds could be appropriate for some of the stuff you’ll cover. I haven’t actually played any of the runelords adventures. Is the main seven pointed star- or variants of it- all over the Adventures in Runelord lairs? I don’t really get how divorced the different countries/leaders became over time. So if there is a temple (desecrated or otherwise) I’d like to hear about it. Sorry for asking for extra work! It’s just… FINDING the seven-pointed STAR winds up being a plot point long after the Runelords’ generation.
The Sihedron Rune (the name for the seven-pointed star) became the national symbol for the entire empire, and for the practice of Rune Magic. No symbol was more frequently displayed throughout the empire. It can be found all throughout the ruins of Thassilon to this day.
If you're referring to the videos in the 12 Days of Sin-Mas playlist, those are hidden because they are premiering on specific dates. I am doing a lot of travelling over the holidays, so I added them to the playlist in advance so they would be available as soon as they premiered.
The runelord of wrath is a red haired women. lol Hell hath no fury like a (red haired) woman scorned. 😆 My mother has red hair and when she gets angry, like really angry not regular angry, even my father is afraid of her.
On the first day of Xin-mas, the Runelords gave to me... A seven-pointed star on the tree!

You're very welcome! I think I'm going to start listing sources from now on in my videos. It will help people learn more about the topics I cover.

What colossal undertaking, you're such a MVP.
25 days of Sin-Mas? Sounds like a perfect advent calendar
Wow, you sure love the Runelords! Not that it's all that surprising given your profile picture, but still, that's a lot of effort - thank you!
