Obviously; from the start they are all coming with different bgs, but at the end of the 1 and 2 episodes, those with more flashy past (I can't use past achievements, because Heesung = BigHit trainee trained with TXT , Sunghoon = former pro skater), we can see who were chosen to have more screen time. I'm sure all of them can be super interesting, quirky or whatever that could attract our interest...
But as always in life, those who are 'better' prepared win. Like, I love Hanbin, even though his screen time was not much, but his image of "possible first Vietnamese kpop idol" helps a lot.

He learns from his mistakes and takes constructive criticism the best way possible. Jay is a good person and also a responsible person, he also never refuses to help each other, this is the kind of action that is needed in a group to take care of each other. Externally Jay may look stubborn but internally he is a kind person.
Niki should learn from Jay to be more like him. Niki works really hard and doesn't give up. But he just needs mentoring to lead better and do it in a gentler way. Rain got Niki to help the grounders more and go ahead and be leader again. As soon as Niki realized that, he took a step up in being a better person! Big Bro Jay is a fantastic example for 14 yr. old Niki.

Thats true! we figure skater do extremely much exercise if its on the ice or on the ground we actually never stop XD And we are most of the time so overpowered (god knows why... im still wondering that after 10 years of skating) its probably bc of the amazing feeling we have when we win, get compliments or finally do THAT one thing right!
Most of my friends are so shocked that I can run for over 1 and a half hours and then still could do a 1 hour hard workout without dying XD Its normal for us we just learn it that way (never stop running and use every second to do exercise)

Tbh Jay has shown THE most leadership quality imo in the show . Most trainees aren't intimidated to approach him like they do to Heesung or K. The mentors were also impressed more by the grounders performance of fire when he and Nikki were the leaders. And he has a never give up attitude. Jay looks stubborn and gives the "bad boy" aura on the outside, but it's the contrary on the inside. He's so caring towards the other members. He's an ideal leader. And I personally think if Heeseung and Jay debuted together, it will be a perfect balance on the team. Jay leads people in front and he has the ability to carry the weight if the team. His leadership skills show and I think the other members see how much of a risk-taker Jay is. On the otherhand, Heeseung brings people together and is like the backbone of the team. I feel like he's the person who supports the team at the back so that no one will fall behind.
