  • Driven by God's Purpose: Understanding Our Calling as a Church
It’s very easy to forget why we gather or why we exist as a church. In a culture that is often need and blessings-driven, we can find ourselves believing that we only exist to receive from God and come to church so that He can bless us. This perception can make us forget our responsibility and calling as a church.
    Key Points:
A Vision Beyond Blessings: God has a vision and a dream for us, something we should never forget. This philosophy of life helps us hold on to Godly ambitions.
Jesus’ Example: Jesus gives insight into how He viewed His life: "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work" (John 4:34).
God Desires to Work Through Us: We are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14-16). Through us, others may come to Christ and the world may be influenced by Him.
Glorifying God: Our good works should shine before men, glorifying our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).
Created for His Purposes: Every child of God is created to carry out His purposes (Ephesians 2:10).
    Conclusion:
The path to living out God's purposes is filled with warfare, but we can find strength in prayer and God’s promises.
    Prayer Points:
God's Purpose in Our Lives: Pray that God's purpose will find expression in our lives (2 Timothy 2:4).
Strength Within: Pray to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in our inner being (Ephesians 3:16).
God’s Influence: Pray for God's influence over our city and nation.
Join us in seeking to live out God's purpose and glorify Him in all we do!
