Remember playing against him when his school hosted a tournament and he was already in the youth national team by then. We were around 12-13 years old and he was already pretty known as the next big thing back then. We lost like 89-16 or something
Such a heartwarming documentary, I got goosebumps the whole time. I'm saving money to come to Brooklyn in January 2025 and see Dennis play there, that would be a dream come true. 😍
😂 I went last January to Chicago to grant two wishes. One Time sees a basketball game in the "legendary" Bulls Stadium to have some Jordan feelings and to see Dennis one time playing in the NBA. He played with the Raptors against the Bulls. It was an expensive experience, but it was worth every penny. I wish you all the best and enjoy it.
@@alassanendiaye6591 salary, he isn’t a top earner but more a 8 mil per season player which is difficult to manage for big teams because they usually want 2-3 max contracts and fill the rest up with min contracts
@duanegreene7492 nah I said consistent that's the main word cuz Kyrie was great but we didn't get him for a lot of games for how long he was here. KYRIE GREAT THOUGH
i love that this mini doc is just about Dennis and Braunschweig and only the last 5 minutes you hear the Brooklyn Nets. I always liked him at the Lakers. Never knew anything about him.
I'm not even a Brooklyn Nets fan but I watched this thing the WHOLE way through. What a motivating and heart-warming story. And really huge props to the Nets organisation for doing this and giving us an insight into Dennis Schroder the person behind the star. I respect him even more now. 👏
I, like many other people got on him because of the contract situation. But I’ve gained WAY more respect for him. He came from real humble beginnings but always bet on himself. Growing up black in Germany. Skateboarder/basketball player. Much respect.
We love you in Brooklyn Dennis. Everything you bring on and off the court is valued. I’m very happy and pleased to have watched this documentary. Shout out to all the people involved. Your story is truly inspirational.
it’s hard not to like this guy. his upbringing, his family values along with his preparation to stay healfhy + his production/marketing team. everything is fye & done correctly. hope he brought his sprinter van to BK👌🏾
@ that’s odd, I don’t see people with African decent keep Caucasian German surnames. I’m pretty sure his Dad is not a Caucasian German. So it’s odd ???
Dennis is the personification of energy, leadership, humbleness and really just a beautiful human being.I have become a big fan. That backcourt with him and Cameron is second to none.Nets have a shot to make some noise, don’t sleep on them.
Props to dennis and his fam!! Nowadays you gotta have all the accomplishments to get recognize, not only on basketball. He’ll forever gonna be underrated but not for me cause he’s undefeated in life.
"You have your shoes on or without socks!" Thats the same shit a told my daughters every time! Dennis is a great guy and this is a great documentary. Thanks to the Nets for this one and stay familiar with Dennis. Than he will stay with you! Best greets!
Wow! A great human! A hard time growing up from nobody like you to show how great you are ! More than respect for your goals in life and the way you live! Blessings to your family and you for the rest of your life!
Wow, great doc! Still wish he was on the Lakers. I would trade dlo to get him back in a minute. The fire, the toughness, the team mentality. All the best Dennis 💯
Weltmeister!!! So Sympatisch Dennis, Ellen, die ganze Crew einfach. Wer es nicht weiß er macht auch selber YT Spieltag Vlogs ect. auch immer sehr gut geschnitten. Das hier ist auch richtig stark gemacht. Really good Video!!! Go Nets!
I was watching another YT video. When that video finished this came on. I was paying close attention (I was cooking at the same time😂). I was about to “close” the video but immediately saw what it was about. Wow, I love hearing these positive stories. ❤❤❤
Amazing guy and amazing family he is from. Being German myself, I am very proud of him and our country that these careers are possible in our society. Peeze, freedom and respect to everyone is the foundation for all good things.
That Livio guy is the true hero of the story. To see talent and take Dennis under his wing is probably the one thing that changed his whole life. As for racism, all they can do is hate and talk, however, even they can't stand in front of his dreams. His success puts salt in their wounds. Also amazing that he reinvested in his home town and saved the club/people that got him where he is.
Das Dennis durch seinen Bruder wie ein 90er Kind aufgewachsen ist, ist für mich neu. And1 tapes, Kickflips und der "crazy" stuff:)), das war ein Leben.
Congratulations Dennis on all your success! I've been looking all over the planet for that particular PUMA Men's Iconic T7 Track Jacket in that creamy white color! Point me in the right direction 😎
Dennis World Champion Captain. Always and forever! 🖤❤️💛 There are few people that could represent Germany better, especially in these times. Danke Dennis! ✌️

Endlich bekommt Dennis die Liebe aus Deutschland und der NBA, die er auch verdient. GERMANY LOVES YOU DENNIS
Hypocrisy at its best.
Leader. Role model. Family man. And humble af!
Couldn't be prouder he represents my country in the world 🇩🇪
