Well, it depends on what you mean by spirit. If you believe in only the physical body, that's up to you. If you know there are things beyond the physical and that you yourself are a spirit in flesh, seeking to know more and become like God, that will be beneficial.

Maame Grace: the guy doesn't know what's believe means because if he said Muslim believe that Allah is the creator of the universe and cristians also said Jesus is the creator of the universe that is their believe, so in that case believe + believe = nothing, and to believe something you can't witness by yourself means you're not sure, for instance if you ask me does rain come from sky i will say yes because i have witnessed rainfall multiple times so it mean i know, but saying something about believe means to sacrifice your understanding without knowing it or having evidence, he don't believe in spirit and he believes in Allah without describing him, we're the biggest...

The keyword is “believe/belief”. This means that everything in any religion is subjected to interpretation. This is far from been the ultimate truth or the law. Everyone can create any religion and write a book to match whatever he wants people to believe. The ultimate truth is the laws governing this our existence. Example is the law of gravity.
