Same here I too watched the 90s version & was completely unaware that there had been a updated version of our beloved mice & when I saw them I was like "WTF?" These are not the Biker Mice I grew up with they could've kept the muscular builds but updated them the only thing I like of the new version of the mice was their helmets now those helmets looked badass.

God, I had a VHS of BMfM and absolutely loved the voice at the beginning of the theme that said the title. I also thought that the reboot was an abstract memory of mine because no one I knew was aware of it.
In 1995/1996 when I was four, my local supermarket had a book display that was filled with these short hardback books for various cartoon series - my mum bought me one whenever she got paid and we would always read the book together when she got home. I collected all six books of the Biker Mice from Mars series this way. They were only simplistic adaptions of key episodes of the TV series but I loved them at the time and they definitely had a positive impact on my love of reading. Damn, didn't expect this nostalgia trip. I feel like calling my mom all of a sudden. Damn you ToyGalaxy.

Big fan of the 90s series. Still have the three main characters dolls in my shelf. Fun fact, here in Brazil, Throttle was changed to Toddy and Modo to Brad. The surname Limburger was Bolacha which means cracker and later changed again to Bochecha which means cheek.

Freakazoid, the Tick and Earthworm Jim were some of the funniest, smartest belly laugh cartoons during the 90’s with infectious humor the likes of which haven’t been seen until the recent Deadpool 2 film. It's a shame those never fully aired in America. I do like that they are committed to keeping the show on TH-cam until a DVD happens--which is long over due.
Hi Dan. The quantifiable influence on a generation and biker-ing.... that's a really good question. Like, how many kids grew up to try hang gliding because of Silverhawks? Probably not many but there absolutely must be some. What was the Biker Mice/ MotU bootleg/knockoff toy line called? Jupiter (something). Gonna go search that up real quick. EDIT: Got it! Jupiter Power! Standard hand-me-down MotU KO body that started with Sungold/Sewco, with some mouse heads. Thanks again, Dan, for renewing old but beloved interests! 😊
Part of the post-turtles anthropomorphic toon wave, it was part of the list of shows I’d watch (cause I’d watch pretty much anything animated), but was never a big enough fan to have gotten any of the toys or to have left any serious impression on me. If someone asked me about cartoons in the 90’s I might have forgotten it, but a topic on anthropomorphic animal shows would have probably had it listed as I was running out of steam, alternating with the Cow Boys of Moomesa for one of the last shows I could think of.
Holy Space Balls! That Throttle Blazing Cycle took me back. I begged my parents for that thing for my 10th birthday and was so happy when they got it. Not even a week after my birthday I took it to school and was trying to show it off. Well I had it on a bench outside and I ripped the cord. It took off off the bench hit the ground and snapped the head right off. I was devastated but tried to act cool like it was no big deal so I laughed picked it up and went about my day like nothing happened. Being a kid is a weird time lol. Thanks for the memory Toy Galaxy.
Loved Biker Mice From Mars as a kid, still own all three mice (Throttle, Modo and Vinnie) with their bikes and helmets. Never owned the Limburger figurine. Did you know that the Limburger figurine actually made a cameo in "The Indian in the cupboard"?
The entire original show was released in France on DVD, very briefly. The highest quality versions of BMFM you can "obtain" are rips from those. Also, the composer of the rockin' OST, William Anderson, eventually scored 2010 ponies. Put all that in your fun fact box! There was no need for season 4 in 2006. The world could have been just fine with just a good box set. LIKE A BLURAY BOX SET.
Videos like these are the reason why I subscribed to your channel. 😊( nostalgic sigh) The 90s were a good time for kids growing up. Those anthromorphic cartoons you mentioned, I remember thinking up crossovers of those shows. I used to imagine the TMNT, Biker Mice, Swat Kats, Street Sharks, & Extreme Dinosaurs teaming up against some common enemy or something. Never thought to write it any of it down though, I didn't know there was a thing called fan fiction back then. And the funny thing is, Avenger Penguins was aired here in the Philippines. I watched it but don't remember much about it except that: it was British, they focused more on comedy than action, and the theme song, which was really catchy. Really, it's playing in my head right now as I'm typing this. 😅
Man do I miss the 90s. I was just the right age in the mid-90s for these shows and toys. When I was a teen I thought the 90s were lame, the music was shit, the fashion was lame, etc. Now that I see where we are today, the 90s were awesome. I grew up in relative comfort, with no stress, and awesome toys :).
@@TeryJones No, Voltron and She-Ra both got the 6-episode treatment. I think the only issue is them CALLING it a season. Realistically, we're just getting one season with a huge hiatus in the middle of it. Kind of like what Cartoon Network does with Steven Universe, etc. Actually, now that I think about it, I think more companies are "McRibbing" their cartoons. Ratings tend to drop as a season carries on, so by waiting to release everything in a chunk, you not only build anticipation, but also get similar viewership for ALL the episodes, because they're likely all watched in one go. Granted, this only works if people are invested in the product. If the initial response is tepid, you're more likely to squander what little interest there was by not having anything going on for long periods of time.
The original Biker Mice From Mars was really popular here in Finland and I was a huge fan of it as a kid back in the 90's. I got almost all of the toys and almost all episodes recorded on vhs, and I still have them. All the episodes dubbed in Finnish are still up on TH-cam, but sadly it seems that all the episodes in the original English dub aren't. It would be great to have them released on dvd and bluray world wide someday. The 2006's season 4 was quite a letdown in my opinion. The animation and story and all that felt like a downgrade over the original, and I was hoping it to be more epic and darker in tone like the 2000's reboots of TMNT and Masters of the Universe
Wow it’s been 5 years since this was released. How so much has changed with the fact that there are new figures, new comic book and possibly new series on it’s way. Would love to see Secret Galaxy revisit this video with updated info :)
That reminds me I have one of those biker mice from mars action figures where you pull the cable and the bike goes running. I also own the video game :P
I had accidentally received my cousin's Vinnie, not the film, the mouse and he got my edible mad science kit(I dont remember what it was called) of the first set and didn't know it had made a comeback, thats crazy. Love this channel so much! Thanks for your work!
I never realized how big this show was. I remember commercials for it, but that was one heck of a star studded cast! I learned a lot from this episode. I might even go and check some of this stuff out. Great episode! Thank you!
That intro is as rockin now as it was in the 90's! My bro still has the scoreboard, it's missing a couple of pieces because darn, trusting and expecting kids to keep dozens upon dozens of tiny accessories together was a thing back then it seemed but it is still one of his prized possessions. I even remember him getting mad at me for losing his Charlie figure as a kid because it was so difficult to come by, never did find it again.
Been a firm fan since day one. And just for Nostalgia purposes I'd love to see a live action film, maybe either a retelling of the classic story arc or a finale to the S4 arc. I just want the see it happen in a way that it has happened to TMNT etc over the past decade or so. Also on the subject of anthropomorphic creatures, what ever happened to Bucky O'hare?
My step dad back then in the early 90s mad fun of me for liking them. He said Vinny was gay cause he wore his earing in the wrong side if his ear.... Miss the feel of the early 90s
Dude we had figures from this show when I was very young and completely forgot it existed! Awesome job on your part for bringing back the memories of sitting on my floor and playing with my older brother’s toys lol

Completely random but I remember that little movie "The Indian in the Cupboard" and in one scene where the kid is taking cowboy and NA figures from a diorama, he replaces them with toys from his own collection. One of the most prominent being: Laurence Limburger.
I was into the original series when it was on TV (later in my country, I'm pretty certain it's either '95 or '96). I didn't see the complete series bc school, and because we didn't have a VCR player/recorder. I never knew it was rebooted, thank you!
Dan, you disappoint me. No commercial break message like the Hey my Biker Buddies, it's time for some messages, said in a surfer tone. I still use this quote into my late 30s
The original series was great, although I think I was to young to understand much about the show. I hated the 2006 reboot, because it felt like some episodes where reworked version of the original and not something new or a continuation of the original. I miss so many of those cartoons from the 90s, they were all good and interesting even if some of them used the same plot beats.

EDIT: Got it! Jupiter Power! Standard hand-me-down MotU KO body that started with Sungold/Sewco, with some mouse heads. Thanks again, Dan, for renewing old but beloved interests! 😊
*The best thing about this show is you know Dan runs off screen giggling to go play with his action figures.*
I’m pretty sure I still have Biker Mice From Mars #1 comic somewhere
Biker Mice from Mars for the SNES is awesome. It played like Rock n Roll Racing but each character has their own unique skill.
LET"S ROCK AND RIDE! best theme song ever!
Loved Biker Mice From Mars as a kid, still own all three mice (Throttle, Modo and Vinnie) with their bikes and helmets. Never owned the Limburger figurine. Did you know that the Limburger figurine actually made a cameo in "The Indian in the cupboard"?
The second series is a sequel not a reboot
And I would love to see new series with Biker Mice from Mars one for kids and one for adults
I remember bits and pieces of the 2006 series, I remember how cool the theme song sounded though.
Wow I love this channel. This is truly my entire childhood every Sunday and early morning cartoons
2000s and 2010s are amazing too.
The opening lines of this video automatically earned it a "thumbs up" from me :)
Bro! This is my jam hahaha.. Thanks for the vid you're the man!
I'm a fan of the original biker mice from mars, that show was awesome 😊
It’s on the every Saturday morning on the el Rey network. Your welcome America.
I remember when a cartoon season was 20+ episodes.
You know what Netflix considers a "season" now?
SIX EPISODES.
IT'S RIDICULOUS.
Lemme guess it was one of those "ambitious" cartoons that pissed through its budget in the first two episodes?
6 episodes i like a pilot a season only needs 12 episodes now adays
Season 3 of GI Joe had over 50 episodes.
Sometimes it's 10 or 13 if we're lucky
The El-Ray Cable TV network re-airs Biker Mice from Mars
@@Yroko Original
As a 5 year old kid in the 90s I loved this show one of the best 90s cartoons
I loved this show as a kid. It would make for an awesome action comedy with today's CGI. The innuendo and dirty jokes on this kids show were awesome.
I was hoping you had already or would do this. Thank you. Sometimes I think I am the only person who remembers this show.
Thank you very much for making this video, it's been a long time since I heard of Biker Mice from Mars
Dude we had figures from this show when I was very young and completely forgot it existed! Awesome job on your part for bringing back the memories of sitting on my floor and playing with my older brother’s toys lol
Loved the Biker Mice from Mars, but never get any action figure y was way into TMNT at the time.
When are you guys are going to do a "Shadow Strykers" video? I always had a soft spot for that toy line.
I loved this show when it was on. I had all 3 characters and thier bikes aswell as the bike with the light up back wheel as you pull the rip cord. The ride bike was my favorite but the mice with the bionic arm was my favorite of the 3. I also had the villian with his removable face.
This takes me back. I remember having Modo and his purple bike in the 90s. I think I’ll head over to eBay now....
I liked to show, but I loved the SNES game! We played that thing to death! So many good memories with that game.
Absolutely! Never watched the show but the video game was legendary. Probably the funnest racing game I've ever played.
Loved Biker Mice back in the day! I had each of the Mice & their bikes which made for a neat display.
Recently showed the Biker Mice snes game to my brother, and for someone who has very little interest in retro games he seemed to really enjoy it. It's basically Rock N Roll racing which is a good thing.
I have not thought of Biker Mice from Mars for a very, very long time. Thanks for reminding me of these cool dudes!
Man, did this ever bring back memories!! I was a huge fan of the original Biker Mice From Mars, & I had the action figures! I had Vinnie, Throttle, Modo, Lawrence Limburger, & Dr. Karbunckle. I'm sure I spelled that wrong, lol. I had no idea that there had ever been an SNES game, or a PS2 game, or that the series had been rebooted in 2006! Also, I always figured that Modo was voiced by a black dude.
