@@extrasuperpowr He now just gives two minions each others attack as a buff for one turn. Really bad if you can't find a way to lock it in (which very few minions can).

18:30 You say at the end that the Matador attack is what popped the shield, but your boar had immune while attacking so I think your initial reaction was right, shouldn't have lost shield. Bug when divine shield + immune attacks Matador I guess?

the new tier 3 quilboar discards spells to regenerate blood gems. Blood gems are spells. So he left some gems so that they would get discarded in the next turn, turning 1 gem card into three, leaving 1 unused, and repeat
another reason might be the prickly piper scaled attack, so gems had more attack next turn.
during later turns though, shady was just slow. his bopper generates gems so there was no need to hold gems (and he sold his scaling).
he mentioned how the latency on the server was slowing down his plays with the gems, I wouldnt really hold on to the gem buffer after you hit around 10 attack on your gems, after that charlie and bongo with the bookie generate enough gems that you can scale well@@infernosloth
