One of the main reasons it's taken so long is probably the planning, since everyone has been asking for a LoL animated show for years, so they have to get it right. But obviously the animation and all that has been carefully crafted and they really look like they're trying to make a cinematic experience which is great.
It's kinda funny watching these reactions back, now that Season 2 has started, and knowing the absolute cinematic sensation this show has become. None of us, not even Riot, expected this.
Why do you hate the art style, i think it's good, in my opinion they found something unique and very fitting for league, better than anime, better than a live action.
Just separate the game from this show series, people are cringing because its made from League of legends, when you should really try it first before judging
