@InHisReign cheers, over here we can only lock the diffs if it is a shale or dirt track, not on tarmac, but alot of teams/drivers weld them up anyway and just try and get away with it
@Fordman516595 yeah most cars that are used for racing are only headed for the scrap pile anyway, also alot of other classic cars that cant go back on the road like insurance write offs etc

@1996zeeshan best thing to do mate is create an account on ovalchat banger racing forum plenty of people are more than happy to help on there with any questions. theres quite a few scottish drivers on there too it wont let me type a web address in so type ovalchat in google and go from there
@PoHjAnTaHtI1 because most cars that are raced are beyond restoration and the classic cars nuts that go mad over classics being raced never want to cough the same money up that someone will that just wants to smash it to pieces!!!
Can some one please help me. How do you win at a banger race? Are there laps or the winner just has to be the last one running? I grew up around demo derbies and the last video I watched said "banger races are alot better" so this is my first look at a banger race.
bubbajoe1985 there is a certain amount of laps and you hit other cars so they can't win. Also at the end the running cars have a demolition derby and the last car running wins

Just curious, any whiplash injuries? Seems like the perfect "sport" for it.
I do the junior type it sucks your not aloud any contact. I am almost old enough to go to the proper one though
