- Clip from the soap opera 'The Bold and the Beautiful'. In 1990, Brooke was in love with Eric and pregnant with his child, however, the couple had to hide their relationship due to Eric still being married to Stephanie. When Brooke's brother, Storm, found out that Brooke was engaged and pregnant by an unnamed man, he began to snoop around, complicating things for Brooke and Eric. When finally Thorne revealed to Stephanie that Brooke was the reason for Eric filing for divorce, the race to the altar was on! Would Eric get his divorce in time so he could marry Brooke, or would Stephanie be able to thwart his plans?

And so would my father. We would have no relationship and probably would have swung on him if mines moved in on my ex and expect me to be ok with it

actually ridge is just looking at the situation rationally and he is being respective of his father's wishes realizing that it doesn't make any sense yelling and screaming
@Thebeautiful11 It is Rick, but at the time they didn't know whether it was a boy or a girl. Eric believed (or hoped?) it was a girl. That's why he referred to the baby as 'she'.

KKL was pregnant with her first son here. That is why I belive that they wrote her and Eric together. At the time Ridge was still married to Caroline and with KKL pregnant in real life they needed her with someone.
How old was Brooke when she married Eric? Did they ever mention it in the show.
She was 21 when she got with Ridge and 24 when she married Eric.
