Enjoyed the chat with Sammy and Jason, well done! What a collection, amazing... I did notice that the 1951 and 1952 Bowman are both "A"s but neither says evidence of trimming or anything specific. Is it possible they were not trimmed and just authenticated? That would be bonkers... Congratulations on the Venezuelan! That is a hard choice, but a 1959 Mays in an 8 I cannot pass up! Just got a 1966 Giants team card back from SGC in a 1 and a 1966 Johnson/Robinson/Mays Leaders in a 3. Also got a 1972 O-Pee-Chee Mays back in a PSA 5 a while back. I only collect RCs so if you or Sammy need any of them, email me anytime.
@@blixcards Glad you enjoyed cardboard and cold ones. I had lots of fun chatting with Sammy and Jason. As far as the Mays cards, the 51 Bowman definitely looks trimmed to me. The 52 bowman less obvious to me why it got an A. I assumed it to be trimmed, but may be worth a resub. The 59 mays in a psa 8 I struggle keeping long term because I would be just as happy with a nice 4 or 5 and could use remaining funds to buy a low grade bigger card for my collection. Sounds like you got some great cards back from SGC! Will definitely keep you in mind. Would love to see picture of 72 O-Pee-Chee. Thanks again for watching.
@@VintageCardWonderland Ah yes, you're a PSA guy... I hear that argument entirely with selling. Being that it's not a RC, that's what I would do for sure with a card that nice. I can email you a pic for sure, it's listed on COMC right now actually because that's where I bought and graded it. I may ship it home or PSA vault it. I also have a 1966 Venezuelan Pete Rose PSA 3 I totally forgot about! That will be heading to me in January sometime as well if you need one. None have paper loss. My pleasure!
@ You have some great cards man! In regards to grading companies, I wouldn’t say I’m exclusively a PSA guy, with the exception that I prefer my retirado set to be in all of the same slabs for uniformity sake. Otherwise, I am perfectly ok with PSA or SGC, whatever is cheapest when it comes to buying.
@@VintageCardWonderland Ah, I was definitely thinking that because of the Retirado... I get the uniformity reasoning entirely. Nice, I'm a slab mercenary myself!
Awesome cards thank you Sammy for introducing me to another awesome collector !
