Maddie you're such a strong willed, independent person and you've gone through so much in your life and you've always come out on top. You've dealt with a lot of personal issues, and we've all seen you grow up and mature along the way. I think you're in a completely different stage of your life than randy is, regardless of similar age, and I feel like you would be happier with somebody who matched your energy and goals in life and who was also a little bit more independent and motivated, you don't need to settle for less or try to force anything to happen, there are other people out there who will surprise you with how much you really have in common and how willing they are to be there for you, and your daughters every needs.

My highschool boyfriend I always would brush off all his hurtful comments as “jokes” but in the end he ruined my self esteem and broke my heart. If he can’t be complimentary now he won’t change. He will tear u down for the rest of your life and it will only go farther the more he can get away with it. Don’t rush a marriage it means more than the paper or connection that you think you have. With all the assets that you’ve earned on your own, be watchful who you legally bind yourself to make sure you can trust that person or get a prenup and think of every little thing to put into it.
After watching this, some of his behaviors remind me of my ex. I was with my ex at the same age as you. I know a lot of it can just be brushed off as “He’s just joking.” Or “He’s just playing around.” But my ex was extremely abusive verbally then eventually got physical. It was slow over time. But the thing with the ‘knee’ he would do… he knew it was painful and I hated it. But he would still do it, but would project onto me when I said I didn’t like it. Or if I did it back, I was now the bad person or I was abusive. As far as embarrassing you in public, my ex would do that too… at first it was a joke. But then it became scenes and turn into fights because he wanted to break me down and somehow project his behavior onto me as if I was the bad person. Oh Maddie! It's not ok for someone to embarrass you in public. It's not ok for someone to squeeze your knee so hard that it hurts. It's not ok for someone to put you down like he did in this video (e.g. saying that the likes you best when you are quiet or calling you out for being too dependent on him and crying when you need him to come over). It's not ok for someone to act like being married to you is a huge hassle to be avoided at all cost. I understand that he probably thinks that's funny but it isn't. It's hostile and a huge red flag. He may very well be a great guy, and I understand that it is hard to judge what goes on between two people in the privacy of their relationship, but his behavior in this video is not consistent with someone who is your partner and who loves and values you. As a mother of two with a Fiance who is literally a pain in but butt and shows he's affection in weird ways like flicking me, grabbing my knee the same way Randy does to maddie, and he has no problem embarrassing me or calling me out on my sh**, similar to how Randy does. I can see and trust him when he says he loves Maddie and wants to be with her. My man put a ring on my finger and when asked when we are getting married he says never... and times when I ask him why he's in love with me his answer is idk. Relationships are weird and people are weird. If Maddie wasn't truly happy with the way he treats her we would all see that in her videos. For those like me who have been watching her for a long time, you can tell when she is feeling off or upset mentally.. and as some who also struggles from a mental illness it's not always easy to hide it no matter how big the smile is on our face... sorry for the rant love you and your family Maddie ❤️

And at that very young age I would also ask him things about marriage and although neither of us were obviously ready that young, he never said that he would “never” marry me. If he had, we wouldn’t be where we are today. I had to grow up quickly as well, but the difference is that he grew with me. He didn’t hold me back and weigh me down. Like many of the other comments said, there are a lot of red flags. If he’s comfortable saying some of these things online to the world, I can only imagine what he’s comfortable saying and doing to you in private. I hope your family sees these things and are talking to you off-camera because I know a bunch of strangers commenting on the internet aren’t going to change your mind. But just keep in mind how many of the ladies in the comments have had similar stories with men who turned abusive later in life. Age has little to do with it for real. My husband & I got together when I was 18, we had our first baby almost 2 years later. Now we been together almost 10 years & have 3 beautiful babies together & been married 8 of those years. When you truly love someone the idea of getting married & spending forever with them is so exciting you just can't wait or at least get excited about the idea.

After watching this, some of his behaviors remind me of my ex. I was with my ex at the same age as you. I know a lot of it can just be brushed off as “He’s just joking.” Or “He’s just playing around.” But my ex was extremely abusive verbally then eventually got physical. It was slow over time. But the thing with the ‘knee’ he would do… he knew it was painful and I hated it. But he would still do it, but would project onto me when I said I didn’t like it. Or if I did it back, I was now the bad person or I was abusive. As far as embarrassing you in public, my ex would do that too… at first it was a joke. Oh Maddie! It's not ok for someone to embarrass you in public. It's not ok for someone to squeeze your knee so hard that it hurts. It's not ok for someone to put you down like he did in this video (e.g. saying that the likes you best when you are quiet or calling you out for being too dependent on him and crying when you need him to come over). It's not ok for someone to act like being married to you is a huge hassle to be avoided at all cost. I understand that he probably thinks that's funny but it isn't. It's hostile and a huge red flag. He may very well be a great guy, and I understand that it is hard to judge what goes on between two people in the privacy of their relationship, but his behavior in this video is not consistent with someone who is your partner and who loves and values you. Maddie, girl. You’re way out of his league. Listen, I just got married to my high school sweetheart. We started dating at 17, and we’re almost 26 now. And at that very young age I would also ask him things about marriage and although neither of us were obviously ready that young, he never said that he would “never” marry me. If he had, we wouldn’t be where we are today. I had to grow up quickly as well, but the difference is that he grew with me. He didn’t hold me back and weigh me down. Like many of the other comments said, there are a lot of red flags. If he’s comfortable saying some of these things online to the world, I can only imagine what he’s comfortable saying and doing to you in private. I hope your family sees these things and are talking to you off-camera because I know a bunch of strangers commenting on the internet aren’t going to change your mind. i know that maddie has had some unsuccessful relationships in the past so that might partially be why people are being protective of her in her current relationship. i do think that some for some relationships his actions could definitely be seen as red flags but please know that all relationships are situational. what could be a red flag in one relationship is not necessarily a red flag in this relationship. moreover, don’t forget how young randy and maddie are, at age 20 you don’t necessarily need to rush into marriage so soon. randy’s way of saying never could just be truly that he’s not ready yet. we do know he wants to have kids with maddie so it’s not like he was trying to write off his entire future with her. it’s true maddie took the video more seriously as someone who regularly posts about her life, but that does not mean that randy has to do the same considering the video is just for fun and not some formal speech or anything. someone earlier in the comments said that he does take everly seriously and does not ever joke about her. he knows when to be serious and when not to be, and i am sure he knows by now what would truly upset maddie. i don’t even think maddie would post this video if she was truly uncomfortable. (im saying that maddie was laughing along with him and thats their goofy way of interacting with each other. couples are silly and have fun with each other. younger couples have their own humor that other people might not necessarily understand.)
I have been watching how Randy is acting in the videos, and I am genuinely scared for Maddie. This guy seems like a little 13 year old teen guy, and it feels like he doesn't respect Maddie at all. Maddie is an adult, and Randy is not. I hope that this relationship will turn out great for Maddie but so far how Randy presents himself is just childish.

Sorry, girl. I didn’t enjoy Randy’s unnecessary “jokes” that weren’t funny and were just immature. Personally, I think you’re too mature and good for him, but that’s for you to decide. This video was riddled with red flags. So, please just keep an eye out. I’m wondering if he truly ever plans to marry you.

Age has little to do with it for real. My husband & I got together when I was 18, we had our first baby almost 2 years later. Now we been together almost 10 years & have 3 beautiful babies together & been married 8 of those years. When you truly love someone the idea of getting married & spending forever with them is so exciting you just can't wait or at least get excited about the idea.
