  • The V31 GT is the latest InfiRay Thermal Imaging rugged smartphone from Doogee. It packs a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 CPU, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage and of course a Thermal Imaging sensor with InfiRay software. Along with Night Vision and a 10800mAh battery this phone has a lot to offer.

    How do you feel the main camera on this compares to the one on the V20 that you reviewed earlier?

    Seems like the V20Pro that you reviewed earlier has better stability in the camera system ?

    Great video 👍 what would you say has the better thermal camera, this or the v20 pro?

      Thanks for watching! I haven't compared them side-by-side but that's a good idea for a new video!

    Is the thermal camera live-view screen a 720P?
    Every reviewers never tell /or display the resolution or MP of the thermal (1:45).

    May I ask if Android auto works also does doogee offer updates to the software over time.

    You might well have sold it to me albeit, it is currently unavailable at AMAZON UK. Does your affiliate link/discount code work at AMAZON de (Germany) from where I would want to order? For someone like myself who needs a rugged mobile for outdoor use vlogging, low light filming and the benefit of thermal imaging, is there anything comparable to this without spending ££££'s ? First foray into such as my current Samsung S7 Edge's battery is on its way out and it is not capable of 5G so time to upgrade with something more suitable for me needs. Thank you for sharing your experience and I shall view some of the other footage.

      Hi there thanks for watching! Sadly my link is only for the UK but you could still try the code on the DE site - hopefully it'd work but possibly not. Hope you find the phone you're looking for!

      @@AndroidAddicts Would hate to do you out of a commission, but I have found somewhere else who are offering a 15% discount. I just wish to confirm that this model is 5G is all.

    Trying to compare the V30 Pro with the V31 GT. If you don't need the thermal imaging camera, is the V30 Pro a better bet and cheaper?

    • @AndroidAddicts
      @AndroidAddicts  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes I'd say you're right there. Other than a slightly different CPU (makes almost no difference) it's just the thermal imaging camera which is the biggest difference for the V31

    why does this only have a dark ips screen.
    when v20 has a amoled screen which are brighter...
    did you agree with others that screen was too dim for outside use in a sunny day? on v31gt

    • @AndroidAddicts
      @AndroidAddicts  9 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yes it doesn't really get bright enough for direct sunlight use which is a bit of a shame. Should have been AMOLED

    I’m wondering why these phones are no longer equipped with wireless charging? That’s one of the features that make me choose one rugged phone vs another.

    • @AndroidAddicts
      @AndroidAddicts  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It's a good question - I'm not sure but it is a shame

    • @dmandman9
      @dmandman9 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@AndroidAddicts I noticed that ulefone's latest offerings don't have wireless charging either. I'm not liking this trend. I hope it's a temporary aberration.

    • @MetalKabu
      @MetalKabu 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Maybe it's because of the poor efficiency of wireless charging and the huge battery? But not sure myself, but it would be a good way to seal the phone a bit better - doing everything wireless. I guess.

    • @dmandman9
      @dmandman9 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@MetalKabu . many of their other phones were wireless. That's why I chose Doogee , Conquest, and Ulefone rugged phones. They allowed wireless charging. I'd use the charging card if I wanted a fast charge. But I'd usually use the wireless charging for overnight charging. It allows me to not have to open the seal over the charging port very often.

    • @AndroidAddicts
      @AndroidAddicts  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Hi there, yes it is 5G. You can normally tell if a phone has 5G by the processor it has - so yep, 1080 has a 5G modem 👍
      I've checked in the setting of the phone and "5G Preferred" is set by default in the Mobile data Advanced settings

    That phone is a piece of crap. Don't buy it. The power button keeps getting stuck. When playing vidoes, if your finger slightly touches the finger print read, the video pause menu pops up. Customer service doesn't understand and takes a long time to answer back. This was my second Doogee phone. The first one crapped out right before the warranty expired and then they wouldn't respond. My fault for buying another Doogee phone.
