I was the Obi-wan player. Went 5-1, but had to drop. He's great into cad/jango pings. Also, its very important that good to me dead doesn't hurt you. Based on the games, ki adi should be main deck instead of rey. The pings from Obi's attack are great. Had a ton of fun with this deck. Lmk if any questions!
Playstyle leans towards midrange. Basically trying to make value trades/keep space clear until obi flip. Then stabilize hard. Ramp is ideal on t2 unless vs aggro. Deck is very strong if you hit ramp and curve. Heal sentinels until you have a dominant board.
Jabba is one of the key units of TT Cad Bane. It brings value, it's impossible to kill, it carries the Blaster 44 very well, it's Underworld, you can get NTATOT out of it and pay next turn for a 7-cost Underworld. I wouldn't go out without my Jabba in my Cad BAne TT. :)
As a sabine main, I am guessing the reason they are playing ashokas saber over hot shot blaster is because of heroism and for a cause. I don't know how often you'll want to smuggle blaster, but I know how much missing 1 point of damage on a for a cause can hurt/lose you the game.
I played Jango TT vs an Yellow Obi and man did I lose hard to that. The Obi heal really counters and stops any early TT, you really need to hit them with a Daring Raid to have a chance for any TT shenanigans.
So happy to see people finally taking notice of Obi. He seems to play really well into many of the current decks. @VeiledshotSWU maybe time for an Obi video??? ;)
W/o watching till the end I hope Obi Wan shows up. Excited to see! Also, understanding that the deck is much worse without 3x Luke, what is the cheap version to replace his spot in the Obiwan and Anakin decks? Ki-adi, or…?

Hotshot blaster doesn’t trigger For A Cause… but the lightsaber does

@ I’ve been changing a few things about mine and felt not hitting ramp hurts and is a little harder
@@Heatbringer12 Hitting ramp definitely is ideal, but Huyang can create some great value as well.

The more i play Perilous Position, the more i love that card. It does so many things, very versatile.
Cad is still one of my favorite leaders, simply for how fun it is to play!
Ashoka’s lightsaber could be that it’s a heroism card while hotshot isn’t so for a cause has that one more card to hit on

Luminara might be a decent choice. Especially if you can get a few units to stick. Or Aayla maybe.

I like obi wan into Jango and Cad bane because it negates their ping damage, and in some cases, can turn off Tarkintown.
