Im calling this right now.. after watching YEARS of Fallon's videos and watching THIS video i see right now that now THIS is a winning combination. The way Fallon talks about (in the Journey To The Juvenile) and how she trains her horses and how this guy trains is so similar. Yep.. winning team.
As a dressage rider, this was super-duper interesting. His leg yield and half-pass are super technical, and another reminder that regardless of your discipline ( English, Western, Polo, Spanish Eq, etc), that biomechanics are still the name of the game. Honestly, I would love a chance to ride a high level western performance horse. Thanks Fallon
This actually helped me so much!! I have a mare I’m training on the barrels rn and she’s not very confident so she’s dodging the barrels a lot. I’m definitely going to work on the pattern a lot but I feel like the bending and being soft will also help!
Loved this!! Horse nerd 100%. I used to ride equitation and trail, do showmanship etc. Now riding reiners for the last couple of years and really enjoyed nerding out on this!
These episodes are so educational and inspiring! Thank you for sharing your journey and opening up information to a world that otherwise is challenging to find a way to start into!
I love raining horse. The horse that I ride is a million dollar horse.Hes a cow horse and Rainer I ride him for barrels and it’s fun but we love Rainer’s❤️
I’m jealous you get to pick the brain of such an amazing trainer! My question is how best to deal with a bucker? Not a break in half bucker, just one that occasionally will throw a fit mid ride and is unpredictable. Tack fits, all vet checks clear and are up to date. She just has moments where little things set her off into a bucking fit. Using too much leg? A bite towards the leg or a buck will follow. Too much pressure to move forward when in an uncomfortable situation like a new place? Hello bucking fit! Don’t let her take the trail or direction she wants? Buck. She’s a foundation bred mare, more specifically line bred King P234 lines top side, three bars, cutter bill bottom. She’s a nice horse with a comfortable ride, but I swear she has a multiple personalities disorder 😂
This is so fascinating! I just can’t believe how easy he makes it look! When I attempt this we both look like we’ve gone full retard 😂❤️. Beautiful Fallon, I love this!
Wow! Its so incredible to watch this prosess and progress! I would love to hear what Kole has to say about getting a slow, lazy horse moving... if its and very unsensitive?!! Thanks for the video❤❤
What does kole use on the colts In this video, is it a bosal with a piece that goes over the poll and mecate, and where do you find one or are they custom made?
Did he just say a horse cannot lift hin back unless the nose is behind the vertical? That is just incorrect. Also, a horse cannot bend the neck correctly when behind the vertical, due to the way the first few vertebrae are shaped. The positions he ist asking for there, are hurtful and harmful for the horse, especially at that young age. Softening a horse is a good thing, but not beyond a certain point.
Please stop riding babies. I love fallon but seeing horses at the baby age of 2 and 3 being ridden just makes me so sad. Most horses don’t mature until they are 6.
Kids don’t mature physically or mentally till around age 25 but we don’t lock them in a closet till they are mature. We give appropriate instruction and activity based on their maturity. Same with horses. As he said, 20 minutes for the babies and extend the time when they can handle it.

So sorry for your loss Fallon💙💙💙
Well seid it's so true.❤
Is the final exercise to work hips shoulders in?
Amazing video
I love that ❤
Do you long rein before they are ridden under saddle?
Nice training
Omg❤❤❤❤❤
The horse did a beautiful job- but it seemed he was a little off on his left hind ( hock or hip ) he didn't want to place it under himself -
At 15:08 - does he still have both legs into him to keep his nose tucked in like that?
Would you restart a OTTB this way?
Fallon great job
❤🔥🔥

I agree. I think that horse is over flexed.
This was a fantastic and informative video
So are you not going to use your three year olds for the next jernony or all new colts
Sorry about true identity
What happened
Yes, horse nerd
Please stop riding babies. I love fallon but seeing horses at the baby age of 2 and 3 being ridden just makes me so sad. Most horses don’t mature until they are 6.
Horses do nature at 2 and 3 6 is when they stop filling out it is completely fine and doesn’t harm the horse what’s so ever being ridden at 2 and 3😊
Sorry I meant mature not nature
@@madalynnkulscar4838 There bones arnt done growing until 6, that is not the same as filling out 😘
They are not babies at 2 and 3 they can be started

Holy golden nuggets in this video!!! I love the educational aspects planted in here. So good! 🙌🏼🫶🏼
