I just discovered a way to make faces. Get a mold for a face from Amazon or temu get some ultra light air dry clay. Press clay into mold let dry over night. You can felt into the clay or just use the face. Works. Sharon

I just was experimenting with different felting surfaces. I use organza gift bags to store my wool in and tried the bag out for a felting surface. I have been felting leaves and when I pull the felted piece off to turn it a small bit of my felting surface comes with the piece which I have to pull it off ect. If I take an organza bag and pin it flat to my felting surface nothing comes away with my project also seems like less fuzzies. I do not cut the bag so felting into two pieces of organza and I just use regular straight pins in each corner and holds it fine. Try see if you like this, clean with tape rollar.
