Not sure how sturdy the hood is but, I used a fiberglass hood before and rhino lined the inside. Didn't add much weight but added strength. Like the build.

Fiberglass? Not a fan. The fiberglass hood on my dad’s f650 broke twice from a tire blow out, knocking out a large section each time. We were lucky enough to find a cheap used one the first time and fix the first one through another deal. They are way more expensive than they should ever be. Maybe semi hoods are better but make sure you run high quality, lower mile tires up front.

My only question is why didn't you wait to paint the sleeper until you had the hood and paint them both at the same time or spray the whole truck so it all matches.
Have to paint in between the sleeper and cab area. Paint will match aok. My guess is he will Paint the cab and Hood next. Probably just test fitting the hood now.
Yes, however where there is normal wear behind the day cab he will want to re-Paint it so that it’s nice n’ shiny to match the newly painted sleeper and soon to be painted hood

She had had a black peterbilt 352 "pacemaker", and hauled all over this country before selling that cabover and succumbing to cancer. Keep doing what you do bro.
A nieghbor has an old Mack semi sitting in his yard. It was his first truck bought in 1969. They were poor then so it had to already be old. everytime we go by I ask my brother if that thing wouldn't make a great pickup truck. Have you thought of making a pickup truck out of an old truck or semi for your next project? I think we-all audience members would love following you doing it!
