- Here is another speaker battle video of dual jbl partybox 310s vs a jbl partybox 710. The 310s are plugged in and all speakers are with bass boost off with volumes from 25% to 100%. I don't own the song in the video. Be sure to like comment and subscribe for more partybox content.
Pretty decent test. Your measurements are closely matching what their SPL should be. For reference, here's the peak loudness of each partybox:
JBL PARTYBOX 310
AC-Mode: 111,4 dB(c)
JBL PARTYBOX 710
118,3 dB(c)
JBL Partybox Ultimate
124,8 dB(c)
When pairing speakers together, you can expect around 3 dB increase over a single speaker. So for instance 2x 310 (plugged in) would be around 114 dB. Still quite a bit less than a single 118 dB of PB 710.
Thanks 👍🏻. I try to give the most accurate DB reading for speakers in the battles. I managed to reach 118.7 decibels on a most recent video I recorded that will be the next video of a Max DB test of the 710. It can depend on the song. Some songs are louder than others so I may achieve a higher db readings than other songs :)
may you compare the "teufel ultima 40 with a denon dra-800H 145W" with two jbl partybox 310 and one 710?

Yeah I don't have either of those I only have JBL Partyboxes, LG CK99, Samsung MX-FS8000, Soundboks 2, Gemini GSYS 4800, and a Bobtot Home System. Really sorry about that.

Is 1 310 vs 710 day and night difference?
Like 1 110 and 310? Currently i own a 310 and wants to upgrade to 710. That light feature alone is something i usually get obsessed with😅
Yeah the light feature on the 710 is pretty impressive. The 710 has the most impressive lights out of the partyboxes besides the ultimate.

I bought a 710 after about 15 or 20 minutes of listening to it it sounded great but one speaker sounded kind of mono so I went back to the store and bout another 710 , totally worth it game changer for sure when you have a pair of 710s in TWS with the EQ in party box app where I boosted the bass just up one notch not all the way to the top but I boosted the high end all the way up it definitely makes a difference and I like bass boost one much better than two I was mainly playing metal through mine , but The way I see it one speaker regardless of how loud it is never gonna sound complete by itself until you pair it with another one in stereo and I got the 710 and the price of been brought down on it to $689 so I definitely got two of them for my house

Your mic - understandably - is completely saturated and distorted. But looking at the spl meter what I see lines up pretty solid with what the math says. You've got 2 310's at 240w each going against the 710 at 800w. If you calculate cone area of the drivers, the 710, believe it or not is not THAT far behind. The 310's 4 drivers are 113 cubic inches of area. The 710's 2 drivers are 100.5 cubic inches of area. (Deceiving isn't it?) The larger drivers are almost undoubtedly more efficient - perhaps up to 3db - and taking into account the 710 having almost double the power; a 4 to 6db advantage is easily understandable.
I'm assuming a LOT in the above as obviously we have no idea what the Thiele and Small parameters of each driver is. We can be right on the money, or way off.
I have no clue what that's all about I'm not an expert at this stuff all I know is that judging by my ears is that the 710 has a more highs and is deeper in the bass but dual 310 hit slightly harder and is nearly identical in loudness but with the 710 having a little bit of a lead.

The 710 feels stronger in bass than a 310 but dual 310s is pretty identical in the amount of bass to a single 710 but the 310s have to be plugged into a wall outlet in order to do so. With one 310 the 710 wins automatically but with dual 310s it's hard to say.

I know only two 310s can pair together but I think 3 or 4 310 will match the power of one 710
No I think dual 310s can put up a fight with the 710 but they have to be plugged in to do so.

Wow lol. Yeah when you get to speakers like these if you have sensitive hearing you better have hearing protection because they pushing over 115 DB is insanely loud now you're talking about concert level.

Had to translate your comment. Loudness wise they're pretty close. The 710 is still deeper in bass but two 310s hits as hard if not slightly harder at higher volumes than one 710. Sound quality wise with two 310 having advantage over the single 710 with left and right stereo meaning a fuller sound but the 710 still has higher treble.
So one 710 sounds louder than two 310s?

@@KohyiottJBLPartyBox I went ahead and got two 710’s Together so in TWS they are insane and I boosted the high end with a EQ in the party box app I left the mid range where it was at boosted the base up one notch and the high end up to the top that really helped the sound with that combined with bass boost one I live in a mobile home so it was loud AF😂😀
