My struggle is my neck is way darker than my face . My chest is lighter than my face . So I never know if I should match my actual face or neck . Because if I don’t match my neck then people talk . It’s complicated because a women of color 😭

Quasha Frasier thats my struggle too! This video solves that. Because of this video I’m going to match to the tones of my skin face rather than looking at your neck and chest colour.

Omg I swear you dropped this video for me. I have literally been searching for the perfect foundation but maybe I need the perfect foundationS! My face is so much lighter than my body it’s annoying. I still can’t figure it out.
Wow, this makes me feel so validated!!!!!! I never get matched properly at Sephora and I thought maybe I was just overthinking my shade and undertones but this is EXACTLY how I’ve been feeling! And even saying that we have multiple undertones!! I sometimes feel like I’m warm through the middle and cool in my forehead and somewhat my sides! I usually just end up going with a neutral shade to mitigate this. I also have a lot of discoloration but this video was so so so so helpful! I love makeup but today I decided that I think I want to be a MUA :) thank you so much for this info ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Oh wow, I was actually doing something write! I use two different foundations on my face too...a light golden one on the middle of my face and a darker warm color around the perimeter.

Can't wait for part two Nae! My questions: If you're not going for full coverage (for like a day look, school, errands etc) what products should you use for color matching and under-eye concealing?
How can I determine what my undertones are? Just look in the mirror and eyeball it, or is there a technique to identifying your undertones?
Also eyeshadow application. Just. Help. 😂😂
And I love how I’m the lighting I can actually SEE how her face is lighter on the inner features than the perimeter... Everything makes sense now!!!

What's the difference between warm, golden and yellow. Always heard these terms being used interchangeably. TIA
msannieb88 warm is more of that red and yellow and gold are very similar and can be in the same category, but yellow might be more of a brighter more pigmented yellow. Gold is more gold idk how explain.

I wish I found this video when I was younger in my teenage years there wasn’t a lot of content on African-American skin and there wasn’t as many colors as there is today a.k.a. fenty beauty did not exist and there were barely any shade for dark skin women thank you so much for this you have no idea!

After I cleanse my face it feels tight. When I wear make up I get really oily in my T-Zone. My question is during the winter I get lighter and my make up makes me look really red and when I use eye cream my eyes water a lot. What do I do? I am a MAC makeup user. N45

I loved this video, I loved the models energy, but the two foundation thing I understood but I would’ve used the darker shade as a foundation, then used a color like the second foundation to highlight and it would’ve came out relatively the same but this is definitely giving seamless.
