I've read Rebecca, My Cousin Rachel (after your review of it,) The Birds, and House on the Strand. I loved all of them. I enjoyed this video about how writing style is so important and how you stress it in your reviews. Now here's a challenge for you: do a review on the writing style of you Du Maurier paper. It would be so interesting to hear you discuss it. Thanks for all your work.

I love Rebecca, so much! I found Hungry Hill years ago at a thrift shop and tried to read it several times. It just didn't do anything for me. I recently decided to donate it back, I'm never going to read the thing. It made me really happy to see I'm not the only one struggling lol. I'll have to check out her other GOOD books, she definitely has the elements to make her one of my favorite authors. ❤

The collection of short stories Don’t Look Now is better I think than the Birds. Creepier, especially the title story - and Not After Midnight!
