  • This is our Summer trip of 2021. The Benton Mackaye Trail is a nearly 300 mile hiking trail through southern Appalachia. It spans from Amicalola Falls State Park in northern Georgia to the northern tip of Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina.
Unfortunately, Jacki and I were unable to complete the thru-hike in its entirety, but by hell we sure did make it half way. Not a bad first thru-hike attempt. The BMT is no joke.
On top of that, I finished this video months ago but accidentally did some whoopsies and deleted the files. Don't ask, I don't know why or how, it just happened.
Non of the music is mine, obviously. I didn't upload this for the TH-cam monies.

First of all I like your videos because there is not a lot of nonsense on them!
That being said, i have some personal preference suggestions for your videos.
Maybe you could add some locations and how long it took to hike from point a to point b. (nothing major, just helpful for an old rookie like me)
Keep up the good work! looking forward to more videos.
