While i find it incredibly awesome that you're having a look into the scp universe, i do recommend taking a look at The Volgun, scp Illustrated, and The Exploring Series. To my knowledge, they give way more details and depth into each scp they cover, while youtube creators like The Rubber seem to skip out on much.
As most people comment, SCP universe is related to a very specific way to tell the data, that's why most prefer SCP Illustrated, The Exploring Series or The Volgun (i prefer this last one as some video include voice dramatization of interviews) but credit where credit is due, The Rubber and other more cartoonish media sometimes brings more people than a very monotone-told story for this ambient where most can't stand 7 seconds without something interesting happening at the start, sadly as some add, some data is missed or avoided just to get to the most interesting parts of the SCP. Also SCP content creators are dying in some way, don't know if it's because of the violent and traumatic lore (altough there's some very wholesome ones) that doesn't get recommended by the algorithm, so these channels doesn't get enough revenue or the views that deserves for this piece of fictional fan-made literature and let me tell you some of them are incredibly good to be casually made and read for free on the internet.
This really isn't the best channel for gaining presice information about SCP Lore, and most of the non-scientific language used is added by the narrator, I'd recommend checking out The Volgun or SCP Illustrated.
@@SymmbolZS I heard of another one like rubber but Dr. Bob actually bothers to put blood and violence. The man mainly focuses on the lesser known SCPs.

Not only is it clinically immortal, it mutates and changes to keep itself alive, even to the point of reconstituting itself from a collection of cells.
There actually is a story on the Wiki about the guy who unfortunately had to test the “Drawing it” theory. He was put basically in a box at the bottom of an extremely deep pool, a long way away from 096. This video plays like it’s SCP for children. It basically simplified and condensed the article down into a light summary, cutting out the best parts of the story. It’s like they actively tried to make 096 as unremarkable and mundane as possible. I would instead recommend theVolgun if you want to explore more into the SCP universe. Keep in mind though that his videos do not have any visuals, as the primary experience is in the reading. It won’t be something to watch as much as it is something to listen to. 10:40 Nope. 682 is literally immortal in every sense. No matter what foundation does to it, they can't kill it. I don't know why he says leave no trace. He usually rips them apart sometimes he bites them but doesn't eat them. Try volgun or another SCP animated channel. There is a short film for 096. From the team that made Overlord.
When I read the page on 096 my take was that once it kills someone, the only indication that there was someone there at all is a bloodstain. Granted it doesn't explicitly state what it does to its victims, but it seems to imply there isn't going to be anything to bury once it's done.

lets be honest, Rubber doesn’t do a good job. The cadence is weird, details are missed, and the overall style just doesn’t fit the tone of the subject matter.
When talking about SCP-682, theres a reason why hes called the unkillable lizard. All methods, to this date, were exhausted in termination of SCP-682. There was 05 chatter about taking him to SCP-001 Gate guardian but that was scrubbed due to the lack of safe transportation. SCP-682 can sustain damage to the point 68% or 86%, forgot the numbers, of his body would be damaged and he'd begin the regeneration process. 682 can also adapt to situations as well. Now if you want a more creepier SCP to look at. I suggest SCP-610.
I recommend looking into SCP-610, better known as THE FLESH THAT HATES. It is a horrific nightmare combining zombies with Cronenberg level body horror. It's my personal favorite SCP that still scares me.
well i would say there are MUCH more disturbing or scary things on the SCP wiki, i have a massive fear of SCP-106 and how he can be practically anywhere.
So there is actualy a story about the person that made a painting of SCP-096: a D-class personnel (D for disposable, for obvious reasons) was provided a photo of the entity while he was in a submarine on the opposite side to the globe in relation to 096's current location. He drew a portrait of the creature as he was instructed, then put the portrait in a case that was shot up to the surface for retrieval. As for the D-class, not even being at the bottom of the ocean saved him.
The Rubber often gives inaccurate or simplified information for SCPs to appeal to a larger audience. TheVolgun and SCP Illustrated are much better choices if you want to see the most accurate depictions of the SCPs.

13:46 the issue with this is that the scp universe has a tendency to break any natural law, whether it's the laws of physics or the laws of gravity, the scp universe has broken them all in one way or another there has been several cases where something happens without an explanation as to how or why besides that it just simply can
i highly recommend scp illustrated i think the way he does his videos will be compliment your way of commentary not only with his difference in use words and etc but visually
about 682: no it IS immortal for all we know. the foundation tried EVERYTHING to kill it, and 682 always adapts and is back as new, some times even stronger than before. they even have to keep it in an acid bath constantly just to keep it weakened, and even then there is sign the darn thing succeeds at extracting nutrition from the acid. Its a case of a creature the foundation REALLY wants dead, but cant get rid of, even using other SCPs that can rewrite reality.
Fun fact: The fact that we have color in the world is a result of an SCP. However, the Foundation was unable to contain the effect, and instead released a powerful amnestic agent into the atmosphere, making everyone believe it's always been that way.
So, one of the proposals for SCP 001 is a definition of normalcy. Essentially a baseline to hold the universe to so that the Foundation remains anchored. So it is possible that there is a definite normal if that proposal is (one of) the real one(s).
If you want a more in-depth look into how SCPs are catalogued you should check out The Volgun. No offense to the Rubber but Volgun follows a more professional(and arguable in canon) way of 'recording' how SCP entities are catalogued.
The Rubber usually tells a really big summary of SCP's but a summary so big that the SCP's end up not looking as scary or intimidating as they actually are, example, the death by viewing a photo that he mentioned was a death triggered from a man that was looking at photos he took some years ago and focused on a pixel in the background that pixel of course being 096 triggering 096 to break his cell and run directly towards the man who lived km from 096's containement site, this is also a summary of the event of course, I would recomment SCP illustrated more than the Rubber unlike the Rubber SCP illustrated doesn't skip through interesting information so people without attention span don't click off edit: Also the Volgun makes really good SCP videos
I'm not a fan of The Rubber/ SCP Animated, but I do really like this video. As always your analysis of the subject is the draw for me. I'd love to see more of these kind of videos in the future

I like this kind of intro more than the "combat veteran, caffeine addict, and youtuber" feels like that one gives not the greatest first impression for the start off
Your commet on the report by the commander being not enough details is right because it in the incident i think , he did cover what type of caliber and give a rough estimation of the number of bullets and the reaction of the scp, like other for more detail for future content i suggest you go on another channel.
i find it odd you went on a rant about how an "air tight seal" cant be true or is hard to be true with cameras when the frame you paused the video on for literal minutes during your rant says "NO VIDEO SURVEILLANCE" meaning they were saying its a air tight seal with no way to check in on the scp and not what you were ranting about. this is why i usually dont like it when anyone pauses a video they are reacting to in the middle of the video trying to provide you information and not at the end of the bloody sentence cause you end up (eventually) missing vital information from the video like you did edit: other than that one thing, love the videos as well as the tactical info when its needed

So, one of the proposals for SCP 001 is a definition of normalcy. Essentially a baseline to hold the universe to so that the Foundation remains anchored. So it is possible that there is a definite normal if that proposal is (one of) the real one(s).
btw 682 is another scp that has been approved for termination and it like 96 is still there
If you haven't already,
i would recommend checking out the short film titled: 096 | SCP Short Film.
Maybe shy guy has some kind of nuclear fission goin on inside it's body, that supplies it with the energy needed, for insane amounts of time.
If you want a more in-depth look into how SCPs are catalogued you should check out The Volgun. No offense to the Rubber but Volgun follows a more professional(and arguable in canon) way of 'recording' how SCP entities are catalogued.
The Rubber usually tells a really big summary of SCP's but a summary so big that the SCP's end up not looking as scary or intimidating as they actually are, example, the death by viewing a photo that he mentioned was a death triggered from a man that was looking at photos he took some years ago and focused on a pixel in the background that pixel of course being 096 triggering 096 to break his cell and run directly towards the man who lived km from 096's containement site, this is also a summary of the event of course, I would recomment SCP illustrated more than the Rubber unlike the Rubber SCP illustrated doesn't skip through interesting information so people without attention span don't click off
edit: Also the Volgun makes really good SCP videos
I'm not a fan of The Rubber/ SCP Animated, but I do really like this video. As always your analysis of the subject is the draw for me. I'd love to see more of these kind of videos in the future
I was really hoping you'd cover the 096 short file by MrKlay
check out the "when day breaks" series on scp illustrated channel.
he has a playlist with the full series.
There is SCP Illustrated that makes these kind of videos, it's more longer but goes more in depth, also made a video on 096 you can check him out if you want.
I wouldnt mind more honestly i think its a good direction
honestly... i think you should make the SCP entries.
all the stuff you picked out are really good points and i think it would make the file better. if you felt like the engagement was more realistic.
Oh my friend if you think 096 is scared then you have a lot to look forward to.
I like this kind of intro more than the "combat veteran, caffeine addict, and youtuber" feels like that one gives not the greatest first impression for the start off
I don’t know why he didn’t call himself the eraser because that’s what he supposed to be
Your commet on the report by the commander being not enough details is right because it in the incident i think , he did cover what type of caliber and give a rough estimation of the number of bullets and the reaction of the scp, like other for more detail for future content i suggest you go on another channel.
SCP Explained does it a LOT better explaining 096 and other SCPs.
scp 682 is quite litterally impossible to kill hell they yeeted it to the SUN and it came back with SOLAR SAILS
I'm pretty sure he's an eraser because his name is the rubber and british people call erasers rubbers.
I gotta say, scp illustrated is probably the best.
you should try the volgun's videos
lotta tactical SCP documents laid out much like a briefing
You should watch “096: SCP Short Film”
You compare 682 to the jellyfish immorality but it just has plot armor
This guy is not using the actually phrasing only parts of it.
I highly recommend you watch the 096 fan film, if you haven’t already
Wow that’s a swerve but an interesting one nonetheless
i find it odd you went on a rant about how an "air tight seal" cant be true or is hard to be true with cameras when the frame you paused the video on for literal minutes during your rant says "NO VIDEO SURVEILLANCE" meaning they were saying its a air tight seal with no way to check in on the scp and not what you were ranting about. this is why i usually dont like it when anyone pauses a video they are reacting to in the middle of the video trying to provide you information and not at the end of the bloody sentence cause you end up (eventually) missing vital information from the video like you did
edit: other than that one thing, love the videos as well as the tactical info when its needed
You should check out Alert World here on YT, makes cool alerts on various scenarios, mostly SCPs.
If you do watch more SCP videos please check out TheVolgun, SCP illustrated, or Eastside SCP instead of videos like this.
The tone of these videos don't work with them as well.
