The other guys were good but struggled a bit to find their game at that level. Then when they were junoirs, Sean May had turned into a monster in the paint. The 2nd half of that season, he was the best player in the country. Rashad had the stomach flu or something like that and missed like 3-4 games. He did have to take a bit of a backseat to Sean May as a result. Plus McCants did get a lot of negative press.
I really don't see where McCants is coming from. After his freshman year the coach was fired and Roy Williams was brought and Sean May struggled with his conditioning while trying to adjust to Williams style of play and recovering from that injury.
