There are 3 levels of carvings:

Intermediate Level - you will progress onto more detailed carving design for larger display
Advanced Level - How to carve Rose flower and more flowers. After you master all these flowers - you can apply to larger Fruit and Vegetable such as Watermelon and Pumpkins.
Great video. Love how close you filmed the radish, and that you didn't cut out any part of the video. Makes is easy to follow along.
+Aliqua THANK you very much for all your kind encouragement and support. Have a great day. Warm greetings :)
When I was a child in Charlotte NC my parents would take me to a restaurant called the Tick Tock. I always ordered salad because I loved their radish roses so much. All the instructions I've ever found do not turn out like this. I'm so happy to see how to make the roses the way I remember
Thank you very much Brenda for all your beautiful comment. Have a great weekend. Greetings from Australia :)
I think I can do this. Very clear explanation. Not overwhelmed with music, or verbal peculiarities. Also, less plain than I have seen before.
Imelda Pear Thanks so much for your support and kind comment, wishing you all the best :)
I made these for a party this past weekend. They were much more beautiful than I thought I could do!

I've seen these from time to time at some upscale Chinese restaurants. I always wondered how it was done. It's amazing how something so simple can look so beautiful when done. I'm going to give this a try. I think I'll add a celery stem.
Very good idea to add a celery stem! Thanks William. All the best :)
This was fun and informative to watch. I remember, as a kid in Guatemala, the ladies making radish rosettes for everyday salads, but they weren't this elaborate or beautiful.
THANK you very much dear friend for all your kind words and encouragement. Have a wonderful weekend. Best wishes :)
Why did she use the blunt side of the knife.
For the knife I used on this video - it is the sharp side.

Thanks for the very clear video on how to do this. You have such a talent and thank you for sharing your knowledge and techniques.
I would like to make this ahead for a party, how long can they last in the refrigerator, after you soak them and put them in a plastic container? thank you ka.
Patty K. Wongpakdee Soak in cold tap water, then take it out from the water, store in an airtight plastic container. It can be kept for a weeks.
Note: use a very fresh radish, wear gloves if you have warm hands.
